How could you, someone might take offense to that!!! I mean, all jokes aside, we shouldn't do anything that might upset someone else.

I think you need to put a stop to this passive aggressive crap. I don't look at every gay thread and remark that *someone* might tie him to the back of his truck and drag him two miles!

I'm glad at least one Christian denomination is taking the blinders off and stepping into the 21st century. To the rest who still draw scarlet letters upon people for being who they are, history will judge your foolishness...

For the record, I have NO objection whatsoever to this guy becoming a Bishop. I was just making fun of the silly loud clothing that bishops wear. It was a joke - sorry if I offended anyone.

Correct observation. However, most members of the church are not concerned about how secular history will judge them, but with how God will judge them. And of course, the manner in which God will judge them is a matter that the christian world has not been able to come to a consensus on since 33 AD.

Anyways, I could care less, funny hats aren't a part of my religion. I would guess it might make a pretty slick costume party get up though.

Ain't that the truth ;)

It's been a bunch of humans trying to interpret God's will for too many years and impose these decisions upon others.

P.S., that hat thing was funny.
