I was just reading some bike forum and someone asked a question who is the king of the road in terms of Motorcycle. Busa, ZX-12R,CBR1100.......

My question to you all is who would you consider to be the "king of the road" in term of cars
1. in (stock form) only
2. in (modified form) only

Here are some factors
- speed (power)
- handling
- prestige
- headturning factor (from both male/female)

Any car with the blue lights that flash behind you.
Then almost any Ferrari or Lambo.

I'd have to vote the Lotus Omega that left a cop in his dust,... and was never seen again... I idolize that guy!

1. Yellow Mclaren F1- ridiculous speed, ridiculous price, ridiculous seating arrangement:thumbup:

2. E55 with Brabus upgrades- kinda like the pulley kit they have for the SL55, just imagine a 200mph Eclass!! add 20" wheels, suspension, etc. and you too can be the King of the Hill!!

unmodded: follow the specs in magazines
modded: Supra.

I don't care how prestige a fixed up MB is, if it's can't pass a Supra it's not the king of the road. Probably king of the SEMA or something. :egads:

Modified there is no doubt the Supra gets it.
Stock, I would want something unique, not seen too often. Maybe a lotus Esprit V8. Head turning because lots of people have no idea what it is and won't mistake it for a lambo or ferrari either.

well, KING can be defined a few different ways. I was at the gas station tonight and saw a hummer with a lift. the dang things are HUGE as it is body wise. with mudders and a lift they are just plain MASSIVE. if one runs over you in your supra, obviously the one still alive is the king, damn sure the winner... no doubt.

In cars, i'd choose the Lamborghini Countach or the Ferrari F40. Let me tell you why.....

Not everyone for the last 20 years has had a picture of a supra on their wall idolizing it and wishing they had one when they grow up and strike it rich. However, the LC & F40 can claim that almost every young child has seen this car and bought the poster.

In the real world, popularity determins the king. the LC & F40 has had over 20 years of posters hanging, young children dreaming, and people wanting to just sit in one and rev the motor.

in 20 years we'll see how well the supra has came along in comparison.
