I actually like the Prius. Was seriously considering buying one as a commuter. Figure i wouldn't have to pump gas but once every 3 weeks or so, compared to every 5 days in my truck.
I think the others want to recall MotorTrend's car of the year. They feel some other car is more worthy.
Personally, think its ugly as sin, but I do give respect to Toyota for doing whta they deemed necessary....and it paid off. I read a full article on this car in popular mechanics and was really impressed by what it can do. Perfect for city driving, because it gets 60mpg in the city and 55mpg on the freeway. The higher city mileage is due to the fact that under baking and coasting the battery recharges. Cool stuff if you ask me, and I expect to see this on a few lexi in the future if the new RX330 hybrid comes out.
Not only does the prius have great gas mileage but it also has the same proformance as a four cyclender camry and alot of interior and cargo space than the previous model.
