That's just plain dumb. A car IS what it IS when its built and leaves the factory. I once thought for a brief moment of changing my badges to make it a Soarer GT-L, or a "Supra V8" (my made up dream world) but after a few days of thinking, I had to accept that I drive a lexus, it was built to be that, and thats all it should ever be.
I'd put a toyota badge on it but never a lexus. At least some people have a clue in that post. Isn't it like putting stickers of products on your car that you don't have?
I want to put the Lexus logo on my car, because two of my co-workers drive Lexus's and they just dont get my car. So I want to show them that the logo does not make the car, but the person driving the car does.
I think if you ran with the luxury on the inside. Leather. Lexus steering wheel, A T.V. or two, maybe a lexus shift ****. It would suit it fine.
Personaly... I think hell if he likes it its kewl.. and I think just the stupid look on peoples faces would be worth it... I want to be there when the first person says oh yea its a lexus its new I read all about it... (As if they are informed some how) and Ide just laugh my *** off at them.. I realy dislike people who are full of **** and are afraid of the phrase "I dont know" and to me this will most likely point those people out way way ahead of time..
Joke or not, I think it is a idea. But to each their own

LOL!! For real!! I copied and pasted the following post from that thread:
"I think I'll put a cadellic emblam on my Pontiac now, ooh ooh or a Jaguar emblem on my Taurus yea that's what I'll do. And let's put some MB logos on a neon kewl!"
I guess from our point of view it's lame. From his point of view, however, it's a mod to his ride. I guess it shows that he aspires to one day own a Lexus... and maybe once he has his Lex he will aspire toward a Ferarri! ...wait a sec, does that mean he's gonna put a Ferarri logo on his Lexus??? YIKES!!!!
