Is there any place that offers Valentine Radars at wholesale prices?

Nope. Gotta get them directly from valentine online (www.valentineone.com). You might get lucky on ebay, but I watched for months and the better ones sold for only $10 - $20 below new. Not worth the risk IMO - just buy new.

Edit - I merged your two posts... one is enough :)

I notice you're from North Carolina. FYI.....if you cross the state line......Radar / Laser detectors (and jammers) are illegal in Virginia. You can be fined and have the device impounded if you're caught with one.
I'm not a cop....just giving you the facts.
Some companies (GEICO for one) won't cover you if you have one.

mmarshall is correct. The V1 is invisible to the VG-1 radar detector detector. But that don't mean they can't see the thing (or the marks from the suction cups on the windshield if they stop you).

Be careful.

Oh, I grew up in Virgina and am well aware of the laws there ;). You might notice that I have two radar dectors in my car and BOTH of them are stealth so the VG2 doesn't pick them up. I got pulled over in college with an old whistler RD in my car when VA first bought the VG2s. I was lucky enough to toss it into the back seat and have it drop out of sight in a hanging suit bag (pure luck). You don't get in trouble for having it in the car (like in glovebox) when you're from out of state, just for using it. It's an operation offense not a possesion offense. If it's not sitting up on the dash or visible you're oK from a casual observer perspective.

I'll admit I do still use my RD on the highway when I drive into VA 90% of the time. I pull the V1 down from the windshield and set it in the seat.... still get a good bit of warning that way. The K40 I have is entirely stealth mounted with only two red lights in my gauge pod as indicators. VA is the only place it ever gets any use because the V1 is much better.
