Well i personally haven't own a honda but my dad has and i'll probably end up driving one for my first car.
Here's the list....
92 Accord Sedan Ex- still got it with 170,000 miles (driving this and Lex when i get the permit)
96 Accord Sedan Lx- wrecked it, total lost with only about 80,000 miles
98 Civic Ex - sister's old beater, sold it and got a 2000 V6 Eclipse GT
and i'll probably get a...
99-01 Prelude Type SH for actual first car (then i'll get a 2nd gen GS)

I drive Mom's '99 Civic DX sedan alot... Makes my lexus feel like a supercar when I get into it!!! 
Seriously, the civic is noisy as hell, handles like crap, has no highway response whatsoever, in any way, AT ALL. (its low end acceleration is terrible unless you rev it up to the point where it sounds like its gonna blow the F$%& up) But as far as basic transportation is concerned, it basically costs nothing to keep up and uses no gas. Totally not my type of car nonetheless.
