Moderators i know this should be elsewhere but could you please just leave here for a day or two being that quite a few people have been asking to see my vintage mk3 supra, thanks
heres my second pride and joy , this is my 1989 toyota supra turbo mk3... I am the original owner for 15 years right off the showroom floor..words cant begin to describe how much i love this fine sports car .. thats the original paint and the original interior.. the car has 170k miles and is my daily runner (i do 100 highway miles a day to work) it has a upgraded turbo equiv to a T04 , right now peak boost is 17lbs. I have an air intake, HKS metal head gasket, HKS fuel cut defenser etc... also eibachs springs with 18x8.5& 18x10 Fittipaldi wheels.w/ 235/40/18 & 275/35/18. its got a full old school sound system , upgraded downpipe with gutted high flow main cat into a 3in HKS ti exaust
this car is the most fun to drive especially when i dump boost from wastegate it makes a loud pssssst that always turns heads

The turbo Supra looks really sweet and classy. I especially love the clean feel of the interior. To be honest, it's a rarity to see in a 15-yr old vehicle! And there's definitely something signifying about driving a vehicle you truly love every day and forever
Thanks Lexusk8, my supra and I are attached in the hip.Its been so many years but yet I look forward to getting into it everyday to drive. Its funny after all these years I still get complimets from people in traffic. I especially luv the feeling of knowing I have the hp when I need it and especially being planted into your seat at high boost.
guys let me be the first to tell you , the pics do it no justice , the car is as clean as it was the day it came out the showroom..
hp when needed is a understatement, when he hits between 2to 3 to 4 and the turbo is boosting 14lbs or better it snaps your head back and pushes you in the seat.. heck he can barely keep traction and hes running a 18x10 rear with i think 265's
the car has made me begin my search for a clean one to boost the hell out of and pak the gs for meets and nice days
the car is borderline concurs (i hope i spelled that right) its pristine
Its cool you kept the car for so long and actually drive and enjoy it. I haven't had my 2nd car for quite that long but I do love mine too, its nice to drive stick once in a while isn't it, but then u drive it daily. I need to drive my other car more too but I got hooked on Lexus'
Your ride is so clean and I love your upgrades. That's a nice turbo on there and your rear wheels are as large as the ones on my SC! Are you on the supraforums? If so, what handle do you use?
PS, you might want to blur out your license plate number.

Thanks overclock. I rarely go on the supraforums. I have to post pics there one of these days.
By the way how do I blur out my tag? Can someone help me with that?
nice car Al, I feel in love with the Supra when I was 8yrs old!!! My uncle was the first in Bklyn to have a 86.5 burgundy/burgundy leather! I remember seeing that dashboard for the first time, I thought it was like a spaceship!! LOL
That was the first Toyota I have ever lusted after and still like to see a clean one modded, especially with the 89 updated nose/tail. I also love the Fittipaldi Tubolares you have, I wanted those for my Accord soooo bad!

Thats EXACTLY what I thought when I first saw an older supras interior. I was stuck with a group of friends going to a honda meet... I was used to the loud, obnoxious, unstable cars all day, then later that night we took out one of the gusy 87 Supra... the dash looked so awesome, retro 80s futura style... and he even commented that when we got on the highway and taking crosswinds and rian, that he's so used to the hondas being buffeted and pushed around, but this "nice heavy toyota" is so stable and planted!
