Well clearly me. But what about you guys/gals? And please post why you went, why you continue to come, or what has kept you away.

The gang is like family now so they are stuck with me and vice versa. Can't have a NorCal meet without most of us involved one way or another.

I have never been to a Lexus meet, maybe since I am the only active Dutch member on the board.:(

Been to as many as I can make. Always good to see the crew again and see what's been up, I've learned a lot just by asking and listening. At least now I can half way join in a conversation and not be completly lost. :D

i went to the California Speedway meet in Fontana two years(wow..) ago, and planned my entire vacation around being there. but i was new and didn't post much, and only remember hearing of a manaray and talked to Cong28. met wei(gsintensive) while driving back through san francisco. 1k miles to go there

I would love to go to a meet locally or at the most 8 hours away, but nothing is happening within an 8 hour drive radius of me!!!!! :thumbdn:

I am not good at organizing such meets as I have tried before without any luck. I am now officially suffering from meet deprivation.

i used to go to all of them within 2 -3 hour drive... this year I've only made it to 2 events...

I went to one a while back.... drove about an hour north in the rain to Scandia Amusement Park, and the only other CL member that showed up was Chan2. There was another Lex there, a Blue IS300, but he wasn't affiliated with CL.

I'm going to a CL meet in the morning, meeting up with VVTI in Amsterdam.

Never. I don't think there is any in Pennsylvania. I never heard of any in my area.

Once the mods are done, I'm all over it.

I'm a newbie, but I plan on meeting up with some CL folks in person soon! I did get to meet rominl this past weekend up in LA's Chinatown, and it was pretty cool, albeit short as we had dim sum separately. Henry's a really cool guy :) Hope to meet s'more of ya'all as time goes by.

Yes, met some great people at the meets here in Fla.

I've been to quite a few meets for Lexus enthusiasts via SELOC mostly. Some were small 5-10 cars but many were much larger including NOPI and the DAVE and BUsters meet that had all types of cars from SCION to Lamborghini. In our meets we often have a "spirited" drive from the meeting spot to where ever we are going to eat that is always fun. We also dont limit it to Lexus only. Eveyone feels welcome, we have a member that runs a Transam WS6, we meet with Honda S2000's and even BMW crews.

But by far the thing that makes it good for me is that I can bring my wife and she doesnt feel lilke she is in a poolroom with a bunch of drunken ***** dogs. There are usually at least a few other women from the club or wives or girlfreinds, so she isnt the onlyh one. I would do it by myslef but it is better that I can include her. It also makes it easier to get expensive mods approved once she sees what the rest of the guys are doing and how cool it looks or performs.

Walkie talkies also makes it better when we are caravaning from one place to the other, it lets us feel like a more cohesive group.

Club stickers is also a big thing, everytime I se a Lexus on the highway the first thing I do is look for a sticker. We also have little buisness cards that the memvbers keep so that if they spot another cool lexus in a parking lot or somewhere they can leave a card on the windshield with the website address and a little inforation.

Downside well we may meet a little too often twice a month min. I think this may take some of the specialness away from it. (not sure about this yet though)

Another positve thing we have guys in there teens up to 40+ guys, we alwasy have fun but we are always mature in how we conduct ourselves both with each other and with the public. This makes me want to be a part of the organization

they're always at least 3 hours away from here. When i find time, i might go! :cool:

Been on the board for a year already. Went to the East Coat Euro meet and a show with andy and johnny. The experience has been very good overall. Looking to set up many more NorthEast meets in the future.

I usually try to plan them but never get enough interest.... :sad:

I would definately show up to a meet if there was ever one remotely near Omaha... but noone cares about us country hicks (tho I live in a city with close to a million peeps). :cry:
