I watch soccer, then basketball, then football. I'm also a huge fan of the Olympics (both Summer and Winter).

For exercise, I like to run. I don't like being competitive when I work out...

If it has wheels, I've probably raced it at some point. Bicycles in high school (I met Davis Phinney when he was a teenager), motorcycles in my 20's and cars later on after I had a little money (but I could still use more cash for racing!)

My favorite sports? NASCAR and Indianapolis.....especially if they get rid of Tony Stewart and his notoriously dirty driving.

F1 road courses are just too boring (I can fall asleep watching them), there aren't enough changes in lap positions, and IMO it is not a real race...it's more of a cornering and braking contest. NASCAR and Indy is true, constant, pedal-to-the medal RACING, especially on the super-high-speed Daytona, Charlotte, and Talladega tracks....and that is why it has had such huge success in the U.S.

Where is bowling? I need to vote and there is no option...

Bowling IS a sport. It is played by over 100 million men and women in 125 countries with officially sanctioned federations in 110. It is recognized by the IOC as sport and is included in the Pan-Am games and other Olympic-level events.

Mine is football. I don't move from the TV during the season. Two reasons I love the game:
1. It's the ultimate team sport. Especially on offense....everyone has to be in synch...performing their job or else the play breaks down. Defense too but the cornerbacks are often out there 1-on-1 but everyone else has a specifically assigned task that feeds off another player. You learn so much about life with this ultimate team sport. You are an individual who has a specific job that must be done so the team succeeds. Some good plays work great resulting in touchdowns and won games. Then there are time you just get beat. You have to keep trying though. Struggling to succeed. Learning to go past failures until the job gets done. Yes, I'm tripping but I love the game.

2. Where else can you try to rip someone's head off and not get in trouble for it!

Basketball is my favorite sport. I was involved in leagues until I was 12. My favorite BB jersey of all time was when I bought the black/red with pinstripes Jordan jersey when I was 14.

snowboarding and longboard skating are the best to "play". To watch I'll take hockey and college football.
Living in Charlotte and not originally being a nascar fan , I will agree with mmarshall's take on F1 vs nascar
