September is the date my dealership is saying, also. Service mgr says I6 with turbo, 300+ hp, says Lexus wants an M3 competitor. But there have also been reports of something like the Rod Millen IS430. Finally, doesn't make a whole lot of sense to maintain an I6 for one model when everything else has/is going to the corporate V6 in various sizes, so I'm taking his report with granular sodium chloride.
The LF-C is supposed to be fairly close (as show cars go) to the new IS, as far as exterior appearance.

Yea, I heard september as well for a sales launch date, but I am hoping to see the production car sometime early spring at an auto show. I really hope it's as neat as the LF-C.
