Yup, to keep speeds down.

In 2006, they're moving to a complete rule "package" change which will slow the cars significantly. Quite sad, they're really watering down F1...

are they allowed to use seperate wet or dry tires.
In some motorsports they further inflate the tires to expose the grooves, this way the dry tire becomes effective as a wet tire.

Freakin' 2006 rules specify a 2.4L V8...That's just stupid. Stupid stupid stupid.

I don't think the 2.4 V8 idea will make it.
Some of the big manufacturers are really keen to keep the V10 engines.

V10s may be kept tho will be subject to restrictions which will significantly limit hp.

Regardless, F1 is going to suck from now on. The 2004 season totally sucked. What a waste of my time. I don't even know why I bothered watching each race. Maybe I was hoping Toyota would at least get one podium...

Hey, as long as it's not a German with the name Michael Shumacher, I'm a fan.

(Well, I don't like Montoya. I think he's an ***.)

Yeah, Shumi can retire, maybe that will make it a little bit better.

That would have been CART or Indy, I forget which...I used to like American karting but I haven't been keeping up in recent years.

F1 is dominated by Ferrari and Michael Shumacher, who nearly ties Tiger Woods as the highest-paid athlete in the world.
