i believe the majesta has the same V8 as LS430 and GS430 has and thoe are all FWD!!! just kidding they are RWD

It's a v6, rwd, don't know if there is a v8. Correct me if I am wrong but I remember seeing ~$45K US. There is a possibility that the Crown Athlete might be coming to the US in a few years. It is a Toyota USA concept car, though a production car in Japan. Now if we can convince them there are a lot of buyers lining up here...

The Crown should' ve been the Avalon, & it seems that many here like it more than the new GS.

I think what Toyota needs to do is introduce the entire crown line here in the states, and make it like a rolls royce bentley competitor. I thikn that would be cool. Like a whole bunch of 85k to 150k cars and trucks. And sell them through certain Lexus dealers(or maybe not). I dunno, just wishful thinking, but it does have the name. Crown symbolizes power; only the most powerful can wear the Crown.

The Crown is under the Celsior, so there is no way (logically speaking) that Toyota could market the crown to be a Rolls/Bentley competitor, the two cars are made for two different markets... the rich, and the absurdly rich hehe :p Oh BTW the new Crown Majesta runs the 3UZFE, and is priced at about 6.09m yen, the Century is priced at 10.5m yen, while the Celsior CF-Type is about 7.88m yen, so yeah, if Toyota was going to market something against Rolls/Bentley I'd be putting my bet up for the Century... if the bodyshape had some changes (and the Century has virtually stayed the same since the 80's or so from memory). I've seen one Toyota Century in my life, and all I can say is that it is HUGE, larger than the LS430, bigger than an S-Class, BMW 740iL size maybe?

O okay learn something new everyday. I thought that since it had such a cool name that symbolizes power, I jsut thought that it was there most expensive car. But o well. Century would be nice, but its like a Century to old (or atleast it looks like it).

the century looks like an old turd. the athlete seems pretty stout looking. the majesta is like a LS right?

The Athlete has cloth interior, different wood trim, smaller in size (not by much coz it shares the same chassis), different taillights, and 3.0L engine.

The Majesta is everything an LS430 is and MUCH MUCH more. :D

it looks like a sporty version of the LS, i really like it.
It would be sweet if they imported it as a LS Sports class. something to compete with the M and 55 series and such, with a suped up engine..
