I couldn't decide if this should go here or in the Engine & Transmission section. I've got a '99 GS300 with 85,000 miles and would like to know ballpark estimates for price of getting it dyno'd.... I am wondering if the engine is still as strong as it was new... Any help would be appreciated...

Depends on where you go. I've gone to several Car Club dyno days and paid $50 for three runs. Also seen pricing in the $100/hour range. Prices do vary - check your local listings. :)

If there's no tuning involved, usually 3 runs for about $50... However, if they are tuning your air/fuel parameters, expect to pay like $125 an hour.. Each independent shop will have different prices and different dyno's..

Yup they are right. About 3 puls for $50 is right.

My buddy works at a shop and it's $85/hr.

3 pulls for $45 - $50 with fuel/air is what you can expect from a group dyno.... It's often a bit more expensive for an individual unless you have an 'in' at the shop

Yeah., what he said it correct... my friend runs a tuning/dyno/performance shop here in Ca... with a group, its usually about 50 bucks a car... usually a bit more if its just you...
