I just bought a Sony 828

I'm pretty excited about my new camera. It's an 8 megapixel SLR and I supposedly got a great deal on it. The funny thing, is it's for class I'm taking and I know very little about traditional photography, so this camera will probably be way too much for me.

I'm aware of the camera reviews with a few complaints but I got a good deal on it so I'm not worried about better cameras for similar price range.

Anyway, I have a few pics that I'll upload later tonight. I don't know much about the camera, or even how to take specialized pictures, so if anyone has a request for an example of a specific feature just ask and I'll be happy to try it and post the results.

Oh, if you want high res. pics of your car, and live in S.F. Bay Area, we should meet up. I'd be happy to help a fellow CL'er

Hey that's an awesome camera. I toyed with the idea of buying an F828, but decided that I really didn't need 8 megapixels. Actually the real reason is that my better half will kill me if I buy another toy.

Anyway I look forward to seeing some awesome shots.
