Sometimes I regret my GS purchase...
A little background on me first to paint the picture for you fellows who never met me.
I am a 27 yr old extremely clean cut white guy. I don't look the part of any criminal and I don't act the part much either.
I have noticed that lately I am being profiled because I drive a Lexus GS mildly modded...
This fact has been impacted on me recently from getting pulled over while I paced with a FORD ESCORT, to this morning where **** came to a head.
I was driving to work, 60mph in the left hand lane.....I noticed a Crown Vic coming up behind me quickly. I turn my blinker on, proceed to pull into middle lane while he pulls up on me slow staring at me. It was obviously an undercover cop as he was tinted out with the light bar package front and rear.
As I pull over some assclown in a riced out civic comes flying up behind me to ride the cop's ***.....he rode his *** for a good 3 miles that I could see b4 I hopped off the highway to my destination.
What bothers me is this. I am a nice clean cut guy with a fancy car and he waited for me to **** up somehow as I am confident he would've turned on his lights sooner or later on me while a thug in a riced out civic is allowed to ride his *** and not get in trouble for it.
I am sorry in advance but I feel like I'm being profiled because I have a nice car and these pigs are jealous of it. I now know how Rodney King felt
I am just wondering if anyone else on here feels profiled and "outted" because he/she drives a nice GS like me.
-end of rant-
I do feel your frustration but look on the bright side they want what we have and most can't. hehehe
My parents are from Pakistan. I don't consider myself a Pakistani because I was born in Nigeria and grew up there. Moved to Canada 17 years ago and are a Canadian citizen now. I look East Asian.
Pimpin' ain't easy!Out.

I am no angel, I fess up when I speed, take a u-turn when I should not have etc. But I could write a book on getting pulled over/harrased for no reason. Here are a couple;
1. I was on my way home when I see blue lights coming fast, riding on the shoulder (when your a minority, and you see blue lights, you automatically think its for you, Dave Chapelle speaks the truth). He was like a mile away and natually, he pulls me over. Now I know I wasn't speeding b/c there was too much traffic.
"Sir, how can I help (hands on the steering wheel already, license, registration in hand)
"I got a report of a white car swerving in and out of traffic".
"Did they say it was a Lexus?"
"No, it was a white car"
"(I look over and see maybe 3 white cars pass, lol), well sir, it wasn't me"
"Do you mind if I check the car"
"You can but I'll be later for dinner, I live the next block up"
"(cop looks at license and sees address) oh, your almost home"
"yes sir"
"the dogs won't take but a minute"
"dogs!!! &(&*^) it"
He didn't search the car but wasted my time. Remember, he gets paid for pulling me over. I just lose time.
Another time, I see the cop following me, I know what time it is........
"Sir is this your car"
"Yes it is my car"
"what do you do for a living"
"I work at _________"
"have you been drinking"
"(WTF), no, and I proceed to blow MY STANK *** HOT *** CHICKEN EATING BREATHE IN HIS FACE"
"(the cop actually sticks his head in the car and takes a whiff of my stank breath) oh, okay then, thanks"
WTF?????
Now this is not a all cops are bad post. I've had/know some great ones. I've had a couple warnings before. Cool.
But I can relate to these guys frustration......
Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
Mind you Im a 34 yr old, 6'4 Samoan, in a heavily tinted GS4, so I'm already thinking he's going to sweat me, but he was actually cool. He complemented the car, saying his wife used to have one in Silver. He saw my license plate cover, which is the College I went to in Hawaii (I'm from Hawaii), and he asked if I was from the islands, which I told him I was....so he proceeds to tell me about his Samoan friends, his vacation to Maui last year etc. I ended up with a $10 fix-it ticket for my tint on the front windows and no front license plate.
Fortunately, Ive had a good experience...though I know it couldve been worse. It's unfortunate that there are those who chose to harrass us, or profile us, but in the same token, there are some that are nice and that are just doing their jobs. Just my 2 cents....

) they always very polite and tell me to have a nice day. One time however (not showing any proof that a cop is in the family) i was stopped for "Improper lane change" yet questions arose such as "Whose car is this? What do you do for a living?" And thats when i suggested that they have an issue" just because a good looking young man (that would be me by the way) is driving a luxury vehicle does not mean that it is ok for you to stop me" He proceeded to explain how he will issue me a summons for a few things... I then handed him proof that a family member is on the job and he was like..."Why didnt you just show me this from the beginning?" Told him it should not matter and that its just not right, he told me to have a nice night and i drove off
Dealing with Cops is a regular occurrence 4 me!
Pull me over to check if car is mine...

My first car an 86 honda prelude SI, yeah its got a kit and stuff, but I'm like 35 now and have had the car since it was new and I could drive (350,000 miles and still going)
I got pulled over twice last week in the honda and the cops walk up and look in and go
"hello mister, is this your car???"
"yes it is whats the problem"
mind you this whole time I have my hands on the wheel and have not made any movement until the cop walks up to the car.
The tint both times, I can't even see into the GS's tint but the honda's you can see through, got a fix it ticket the first time and a warning the second time.
Once they check my age or I tell them this is my first car, they get all kool about it.
In the past in the GS I have been going 80 on the freeway and they drive right past me.
go 68 in a 65 in the prelude and I'm pulled over.
Sucks man either way its hard to have something nice, you either have to worry about the cops or people trying to take or damage your stuff.
Heres to no more red lights in our rear view mirrors and lets take it easy out there, CL doesn't need another missing member.
