Hello folks -- didn't have class this morning so I decided to try another ghetto studio shot. The bottle is really filled with orange highlighter fluid and the glass is filled with water and yellow food coloring. Photoshop used for level adjustment and slight USM. I'd really like to get some comments on how I can improve this shot. Thanks guys.

but it's a really cool shot, I don't do much photo editing of my pics, well I also use film primarily also.

you could use the real thing in a bottle and do a soft/diffused light underneath it, if you have a glass table that is. that always looks cool
I have seen a small mirror being used to direct sunlight into a crystal glass to get a starred prism effect coming from the glass in a sunburst, that was cool as hell.

Nice artistic shot. I'd personally like to see real whisky which is more clear than the fluid you have in there. An easy cheat would be filtered ice tea ;)
