Can you guys find the turbo(s) on this car? Hint: there's two.
hmmm... could it be under both of those intake manifolds.. Basically a pain in the *** to get to unless your working from the bottom or have the engine out
The turbo isnt that small in the first pic. Its the new concept of remote mounting the turbo away from the engine. They do this in camaros and mustangs to keep the extra heat out of the engine. They mount it around the rear end.

I've seen these remote mount turbo systems as well. I would only ever consider one if there was abo****ley no space in the engine bay for a turbo setup and heat was a major factor. Otherwise all the extra piping would not be worth it in my opinion.
I'd imagine there would be excessive amounts of lag on these systems as well?
They have the remote mounted Turbo systems.
Pretty cool concept.
My friend is considering this kit for his Tundra. The one on the website sounds prtty tough when revving up.
Anyway, I only see one potential problem. What happens to those exposed parts when it rains???
And I also see one advantage. The Turbo should run a lot cooler
Ive seen installs on STS turbos on numberous cars. Some of them made awesome power, others made crap. The idea is stupid in my opinion. Ive seen so much lag with these setups. And it exposes the turbo to damage, and ive seen it happen. Id stick with a traditional turbo setup and use heatwrap to avoid excess heat buildup....
