I took the 20D on it's first trip out to Vegas. I am still unfamiliar with many if it's capabilities, but even so I was able to take some nice pics.

Keep in mind that the night pics were taken at 800ISO with some at 1600ISO!

I am most impressed with the camera. I took 636 photos and the battery meter did not even budge! :thumbup: It also showed that I had room for over 500 more photos on the Lexar 80x 1GB stick. All were taken at "S" setting for .jpg. No RAW.

Scaled down in Photoimpact for quicker load times and to save me some bandwidth.

PS I highly recommend the Celine Dion concert. Sorry no pics of that. Hard to sneak the 20D into there.

Those look great! I checked out more on your site, and I cant believe how low the noise levels are in those night shots at ISO 800! My noise levels get bad even at 200. I cant wait till I upgrade cameras :D

Gorgeous gorgeous! Stop tempting me to get a 20D :) bitkahuna was right in mentioning how the 20D filters out noise. At ISO 800 those shots are amazing. Keep it up!

Thanks everyone. The camera is amazing. At first I was a bit hesitant . But now-no way am I looking back. I am saving up for a nice step up lens.

Vegas was very nice. Not crowded as we went from Wed to Fri. We usually go once a year.

One thing I noticed was the attention your recieve when you burst 5 frames per second for over 20 shots straight! :D People really want to know what your shooting with.
