Excellent pictures!
Did you guys just wait during the storm and just hit the shutter release when a bolt occurred?

Thanks Bit. I dont know about Nazty, but I had my camera set up on a tripod looking out my window.. I just went for long exposures and hoped there would be a strike during my exposure. My first one up there was I think for 15 seconds, and the second one was for less than that. I took a good few pictures and got three with decent strikes, those two being the best of the three.
I probably could have gotten more, but the storm was moving through fast, and it was out of site fairly quickly. I was pretty happy when I looked through all the pictures and found that first one.

WHUT???? Digital Photography forum??? Never heard of such a place,... this is a new one on me...
Bit,... I went outside and just clicked when I thought somethin' was gonna happen... I was workin' on a clients home and decided to try it on the spur of the moment,,... i think a tripod would be a good investment for me... as I don't have one...

Wow, how do you guys time those shots? or do you just use drive mode? I just got myself an A510, the replacement for the A75, and an ipx3000 printer for $140 after rebates.
