View Full Version : UFC - Liddell vs Couture whytry 04-06-05, 05:21 PM I might be heading out to Vegas for the fight. Anybody else going? Anybody have any hookups on hotels? Any help greatly appreciated!!! LEXISM 04-06-05, 05:35 PM is that this weekend ? mikeloc24 04-06-05, 05:37 PM No, but I saw Chuck beat the living hell out of Tito Ortiz :p I can't recall seeing and of Randy's bouts, but I'm sure he's fierce as his name is well-known in "no holds barred" fighting :boxing: SCRUFFDOGG 04-06-05, 05:46 PM No, but I saw Chuck beat the living hell out of Tito Ortiz :p I can't recall seeing and of Randy's bouts, but I'm sure he's fierce as his name is well-known in "no holds barred" fighting :boxing: UFC47, i just returned it to netflix, he knocked Tito the %&#$ out! This is going to be a good fight. whytry 04-07-05, 10:35 AM Yeah it should be an awesome fight! I hope to be there live. If not PPV here I come..... Dx3 04-07-05, 11:32 AM is that this weekend ? No, it is the 16th. But Shamrock is fighting this weekend - as are the 2 finalists from the UFC reality series. The Liddell/Couture fight will be awesome - especially after last time. I think Couture will take it again though. He is more of a brawler that Liddell. Can't wait to see it - does anyone know how much the PPV is for the 16th? Jonny Vegassc400 04-07-05, 12:54 PM Couture is the man. Him and Liddel are gonna have a great fight. Onelove 04-07-05, 01:02 PM http://www.onelovemedia.com/ot/ufc52tix.jpg Even better NHRA Powerade is in town that weekend and the Sport Compacts are invited to run (IE Why this FL boy will be in Vegas). D-MAN63 04-07-05, 01:07 PM UFC is awesome ! My favorite is Belford. SC400Dude 04-07-05, 02:53 PM I favor Chuck in this fight. MRLEXO 04-07-05, 07:10 PM Liddell is gonna get rocked. The last time they fought he didn't even hurt Couture. I'm surprised he's actually going to fight him again. I'd rather see another Tito vs Chuck rematch. That would be a much more exciting fight. BrianH 04-07-05, 09:53 PM couture should dominate. i agree, a tito/chuck rematch would be a more exciting fight. unless couture lets him stand up the whole time, chuck wont be able to do much. Lexy GS430 04-07-05, 10:26 PM Just so everybody knows, tito is not the same tito we knew when i first saw him fight evan tanner, he knock out tanner with just a brut slam now thats the fearless tito that we know. Now he's just bearly hanging on, and if he didn't win UFC 51i believe that would have really been shameful on his part. Chuck is a great all around fighter but striking is his main weapon of choice but courture is a more well balance fighter for me. Also i must say that evan tanner is really moving up the ranks. He has improve his skill so much over the years. Everytime he fights he always put on a great show. All UFC fighters are great. I'll be watching UFC52 on PPV. Onelove 04-08-05, 10:45 AM Tito has been too worried about movies and his rep than fighting, definately not the same. I'll take Couture v. Mirko CroCop any day of the week though if he ever comes to the UFC :) Dx3 04-09-05, 07:24 PM Guys, Everyone watching?? I got Kenny to lose, Bonnar to win, and Shamrock to lose. What y'all think? Jonny Dx3 04-09-05, 09:26 PM Guys, Everyone watching?? I got Kenny to lose, Bonnar to win, and Shamrock to lose. What y'all think? Jonny 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Kenny got rocked as I expected. Bonnar should have won - I think he won it but I'm not a judge. At least Dana was cool enough to give him the contract too - he certainly deserved it providing what they said was " the best fight in UFC history" And HOT DAMN - Shamrock got worked!! I didn't think he would get meshed like he did. He wasn't even defending himself on the floor - just covering up which is useless when ur head is getting pounded on. Granted, it was unlucky that he slipped which got him into the position he was in - but a 10+ year veteran of UFC should be able to get out of that. Anyway, great fight and best of all it was free!! Peace, Jonny Beachtyme 04-10-05, 07:20 PM Looking forward to the upcoming fight. Randy keeps the title, IMO. Jayson 02-04-06, 05:56 PM Anyone got the fight tonight? We have a group of friends watching from the neighborhood over. I think if Liddell doesn't get the knockout early in the first, then Couture has it for sure. Couture is in fantastic shape for a 40+ year old. Dx3 02-04-06, 06:23 PM Anyone got the fight tonight? We have a group of friends watching from the neighborhood over. I think if Liddell doesn't get the knockout early in the first, then Couture has it for sure. Couture is in fantastic shape for a 40+ year old. Damn man, I forgot all about this. I wish I had it ordered but I am not paying $50 for myself. Who's got who?? I want Couture to win but Chuck is a baller!! Chris - who you got? Jonny dsouth 02-05-06, 01:44 PM Liddell is gonna get rocked. The last time they fought he didn't even hurt Couture. I'm surprised he's actually going to fight him again. I'd rather see another Tito vs Chuck rematch. That would be a much more exciting fight. Yeah It might be another short fight if Chuck catches Randy coming in w/ his hands down. But randy plans on grounding & pounding Chuck. I used to like Tito until he kept getting knocked out. I can't wait to see Gracey fight Matt Hughes. That'll be good. A legend and an up coming brawler. Jayson 02-05-06, 05:39 PM I personally think Couture was getting picked at pretty good. Then, when his foot slipped Chuck took full advantage and pounded away. Chuck's too good to let any mistake go and he proved he's the best again last night. BUT, did you all catch Frank Mir's fight!!! OMG, his eye was messed up!!!! I cannot believe that Herb Dean let that fight go on as long as he did. |
