Do you think that Lexus will offer the RSES, available I think on all its SUVs, in its sedans? I just saw a BMW one that fits over the center console box.
And, will Lexus offer more gadgets, such as Night View, on its sedans?

Well it really depends on how Lexus fews Rear Ent. in a sedan.
The only sedan that I know that comes with the RSES is the Jag XJ something... it somes with factory headrest system. Its pretty cool!
But if you are looking to put LCDs in your car, you do have some options...
for replacement headrests:
Myron and Davis
Vizualogic
SAVV
Audiovox
These are the top three. I would personally go with the Myron and Davis headrests. They offer the 5.6", 7" and 7.8" headrest. They are all DOT tested, and if you later decide to put them into another car, you can buy the empty headrest and put your old monitors into them.
Vizualogic is pretty nice as well. They have headrests that are VERY close to the factory shape. But keep in mind that if you want to put a 7" monitor into a headrest, it has to be a bit larger then factory. Only issues with vizualogic is the headrets are NOT always leather and they do not use IR transmitters for headphones, rather they use FM headphones.
SAVV...well can't say much about these guys....if you are willing to put a 10.2" monitor into a headrests...these are your guys..
Audiovox...well again, can't say much...ITS AUDIOVOX :thumbdn:
There are also headrest combo options ( headrest with built-in DVD players). Right now Audiovox and Vizualogic offer them. These are great since there is less wiring the installer had to do, and now you don't have to worry about where to put a DVD player. I have seen and played with both of these units, and they are very cool....but I just can't deal with the loud fan noise. Myron and Davis will be releasing their combo headrets in the near future.
Hope this helps...

Yeah, I was pretty surprised about that one myself. Before my old officemate bought her TSX she brought the brochure in to the office, and the rear seat entertainment system was the one option I really didn't see any need for in a car that size. But I guess they only have to sell a few to make back the investment, right?!

So does the....
Chevy Malibu Maxx(option)
All GM Minivans(Standard)
Infiniti M-series(option)
Volvo XC90 (2 Screens in the Front Headrests, $1,500-2,000 Factory option)
Volvo V70/XC70(overhead screen $1,000)
Volvo S80 (2 Screens in Front Headrest, part of a bigger package)
Obviously missing a few more cars that offer it

More than likely aftermarket installed and not factory installed. I cant picture a Acura putting that as an option on a TSX.

Try to picture it, then. From http://www.canadiandriver.com/testdrives/04tsx_auto.htm:
"There are some options, or 'accessories' as Acura calls them: a rear DVD entertainment system, special alloy wheels, cassette player, front and rear spoilers and side skirts, and front fog lamps. You don't need most of these though - even the fog lamps are unnecessary - the TSX has awesome Xenon headlights."
My friend bought an '04 (here in the U.S.), and I can't find any reference to this accessory on the current Acura website, so maybe they discontinued it due to lack of interest. But rest assured, it was an Acura item, not some aftermarket deal.

I am thinking the same thing. I looked around and made some calls but can't find anything Acura RSES for the TSX. But I do have a customer that is doing a pre-load program at an Acura dealership in ATL with 5.6" headrests and a DVD player in the glove box.
But if anyone can forward me a link of where I can find more info about this.....I would greatly appreciate it!
