It was beyond dangerous but in the end it was very skillfully and elegantly done. EDIT: What's General Lee anyway?:uh: robloc93 05-12-05, 03:46 PM :eek2: :eek2: That was BAD ASS   Luckily it came out right or else someone would have kicked his ass!!! :D Pirate400 05-12-05, 03:48 PM thats flippin awesomE! ARISTO*7 05-12-05, 05:21 PM that was nuts. great find. tetra7 05-12-05, 05:28 PM Was that even real? Something doesnt look right bc those drivers didnt even check their brake lights. XeroK00L 05-12-05, 05:34 PM Was that even real? Something doesnt look right bc those drivers didnt even check their brake lights.Perhaps those drivers were just too stunned to react at all? The video looks 100% real to me, especially by looking at the reflection from the wet ground and all the splashed water towards the end of the clip. Blue98Gs3 05-12-05, 05:49 PM The video is real, you wanna know why no1 checked their brakes? its a clip from the new general Lee movie with jessica simpson. Turn your sound up at the end and they say, cut cut cut, good job guys. Its a professional driver, who did some damn nice driting for that movie. XeroK00L 05-12-05, 05:55 PM Turn your sound up at the end and they say, cut cut cut, good job guys.Ahh really!! LOL didn't notice the voice until you mention it.:p So it was filmed in a somewhat controlled environment after all, but still the driver's skill is awesome. Blue98Gs3 05-12-05, 05:57 PM Ahh really!! LOL didn't notice the voice until you mention it.:p So it was filmed in a somewhat controlled environment after all, but still the driver's skill is awesome. Exactly, its a very controlled enviroment, as those cars were staged to be exactly there, but that was some awesome controlled drifiting, especially on wet pavement. I gotta give it to that guy, he's a good driver. Pirate400 05-12-05, 06:04 PM Dukes of Hazard!!?? Koma 05-12-05, 07:01 PM Dukes of Hazard!!?? Roger that. Falcon LS 05-13-05, 01:51 PM So it was filmed in a somewhat controlled environment after all, but still the driver's skill is awesome. It was awesome. Sometimes, you don't need to use the gas to drift, so long as you're up to speed...you just have to pump the gas to keep the drift going like they did in that video. On the other hand, I wonder what sort of suspension tuning they did on the car. :uh: KVA 05-13-05, 02:31 PM Sweet driving...best part is he stays in his lane the whole way :D ivesGS400 05-13-05, 04:30 PM Yeeeeee hawwwww!!!!! Dukes of Hazzards rules!!!!!! chuckb 05-13-05, 06:41 PM that was killer. I wonder how many tries it took? ;) :D that reminds me, you ever notice in most movies when there is a car stunt, you can see the burnout/skid marks from where they have done the same thing a few times previously? O. L. T. 05-13-05, 10:29 PM I know it is only used in jumping, however i am highly dissapointed i didn't get to hear the horn as he rounded the corner :D |
