Why wouldn't he/she have lowered it? It looks kind of funny sitting up that high with nice rims...

it would only look good when it's lowered

i guess there havn't been stuff for it to be lowered yet? parts not available?

That's probably the case. The pics shown are probably one of the best angles of the car . . . from some other angles, I'm not too impressed with it . . .

The design of the CLS 500, with these rims or not, just isn't for me. Although I must admit that I can see where the design would appeal to some car enthusiasts.

I saw one of these stock the other day and I am a big fan of the car. This one in the pic needs a drop though.

After seeing pics of the upcoming new S-class, the CLS is looking better and better.

I don't know. This is the first "4-door sedan" I've been excited to see in awhile. Maybe it will disappoint if I go to take a closer look but it sure look sleek driving by.

So was I. Panel gaps too big. Interior cheaply made. Grill cheaply made. Totally untypical of benz.

it is fairly disappointing...

drives like a 300C...

but i'm keeping it because well *sigh* it's "trendy"

I agree...I'm not impressed either. The rear looks jacked-up too high, the whole roofline looks like a flattened upside-down bowl, and the rear window and trunkline looks like a 40-year old 1966 Olds Toronado...IMO one of the of the most awkward-looking cars of the 1960's.

Wheels totally change this car... I saw this car in person the day the wheels were installed and it looks killer while moving!

The owner is very cool, but does not want to lower the car... as Henry would say "it would look 100x better if you lower it."

Here's the Zone 3 black on a CLS 55- these come lowered from the factory.
Looks MUCH better!

Thanks to Wheel Experts for the photo!
