My girlfriend decided to be a sweetie and let me take some pictures of her today. I used my 50mm f/1.8 throughout the whole shoot. Took about 150 of her -- out of those, these are the ones that we chose together ....

Nice work!!! Can my Sony DSC-F707 produce near quality results like that?

For pics of young ladies, try not to take a pic of them "head on". Always have the knees facing away from you. Hips should be turned slightly towards you for a flattering effect.

Face position is also important. Try not to show too much jawline as it makes most girls look wierd. Most of the pics of gals are good when in the 1/4 turn away from "head on".

Focus point...EYES, EYES, EYES. That in itself will make a difference.

Shoulders - try not to bring them up unless you're going for a wierd look. Have them down or rolled back, but not shrugging. It ruins the curve.

Your GF has a good eye for photography...needs a bit more training but she's good as a beginner.

Honestly the one I like best is the b/w with you taking a smoke. Either the composition, lighting or exposure of the ones with your g/f doesn't quite do it for me, but I'm no expert!
