Looks like I'm the lone Audi vote so far.

I care less about the numbers and more about everything else. I like cars that present a certain image - understated yet agressive, refined yet excessive, unnecessary yet well-executed.

Audi's RS and S cars are all of those things and, for that reason, I'm drawn to them.

They're not necessarily the fastest or best handling - but I love them.

That and they offer them in "sensible" wagon form (though not here :cry: ) :cool:

Honestly I would love to see other people driving those high performance vehicles on street, but for me, Japanese cars are still my favorite. Lexus, Infiniti, Acura are the ones I would stick with.

but if you talk about getting the car for pure driving spirit, i will choose the m any day

SL55 AMG is my favorite benz, Definetely getting one as soon as possible. Love the Brabus Monoblocks in silver and in black. This car makes me studder. :woot:

Style wise I'd choose the AMG Mercedes cars. Otherwise I voted for the M Class cars. The E46 and E39 M cars is bar far my favorite. Currently, I'd still pick the E60 M5 just because I recently saw a video of a test drive of the M5 and that car is simply awsome.

From a pure driving perspective, I prefer the M, & l admire the NA V10 & I6 more than the turbo/supercharged AMG's, but the Benz's look better & the only passable BMW stylewise is the M6. The M3 looks good but I see too many 3 series I start to get sick of it.
It's tough, but based on the # of choices available, I have to vote for the AMG's. The SL55/65, CL/55/65 are my favourites.

Since I already have an AMG I am a little biased, but I would love to have an SL65 or CL65...

I would also love a BMW M5, Audi RS4/6 and for some reason the Cadillac is growing on me...I have seen a few in person and they look pretty good and are a rare sight.

I saw a Volvo R the other day and tried to get it to dance but it wouldn't...looked pretty good for a Volvo.

I looked at a v-series cts the other day, and I loved that car!!! I am taking a test drive tomorrow. Easy to mod, over 500 hp for literally a few thousand...cams, exhaust, headers...Even more with head work. Throw a vortec on it....all for a third of the other cars on the list in the 550-700hp range. Interior is so so to say the least...But I am gonna try out all six gears tomorrow. :p

And gm's rebate also!!!!

the CLS55 AMG is a HOT car.


it's faster around a track than the Aston Martin Vanquish S.
it's only slower than the Ferrari 575 GTC by like a fraction of a second.


and it's got 4 REAL SEATS.

The 2 weighs about the same & so is their performance. It's the convertible hardtop versus the useful rear seats AFAIC. As rear seats aren't important to me for now, so if I have to pick between the 2, I'd pick the SL, but I'd be happy with either. :D

:) I have both and it is a real toss up. Of the 2 the CL 55 is more graceful and the SL55 is more powerful. There is a difference in the exhaust on the SL that makes it sound meaner. The gearing on the SL is lower 2.82:1 versus 2,65:1 on the CL which makes for quicker acceleration. As for appearance I think in their own way each one has has qualities that the other one does not have. I love the appearances of both but get more thumbs up in the SL.

I really like the Audi RS6 and the new S4s, but I have to say those AMGs are fast.

If had that kinda money Id build a 600+ hp Lexus with an audiophile grade stereo AND HRE wheels. After that Id have extra money for maybe a Lexus SUV
