In the last week i have already seen a couple and all i can say is.....eh. The car is nothing special. When it passes by there is nothing that stands out and nothing that will keep your attention for more then 3 seconds. It feels like you have A.D.D looking at it and not being able to focus. All this fuss about that car and, quite frankly, the Mustang looks x10 better.
It's a little late in DC for a special someone to reply but wait till morning and I'm sure mmarshall with have something to say on the topic.
Personally I think it looks pretty good and is a good alternative for a sportier, less luxurious alternative to the 300C. I like the speciall color choices but I REALLY just wish they would have stayed true to the Charger and made a coupe! But hey, 340hp for under $30k in a sedan is cool with me.

Yes, I'll say a few things. First, the obvious. Jim's right...there should be a 2-door model. This has been brought up before in many write-ups on this car. I would like it a lot MORE in the lime-green or purple colors of 1970-71.
I would seriously consider a purchase except that I'm in just as much love with the 2005 Subaru Legacy / Outback and the prospect of a new Lexus IS250 AWD as I am this car....and both Subaru and Lexus have far better quality then Dodge. I have become a big supporter of AWD...even for non-snowy roads. Yes, there will be a Magnum / 300 AWD but no prospect as yet for the Charger.
I too agree that the Charger is notihng too special, however I will say that after seeing the SRT-8 Chager at the auto show back in April, to me it looks really good. Big wheels, hood scoop, spoilers, etc. It looked really muscular and cool.
I just read that they plan on resurrecting the Challenger name in 2008/9, and making that a 2 door vehicle built off the same platform. Sounds like a better move to me.
