Since my SC300 is currently having technical difficulties, I had to bum a ride off my coworkers at work. Since one of my coworkers drives a 02 Z06, I took the opportunity to get a ride in it. To simply describe this car in one word, its a beast. The thing feels like its a mix between a high tech exotic and a highpowered muscle car like a Nova. The exhaust was really loud and mean. The thing took corners with ease. The biggest turnoff is the economy interior. What do u guys think of it? Dont comment if u never driven or rode in one and have a big bias against domestics
in technical terms it is a monster, that thing is fast I mean stupid fast, but it is also the worst car to have in terms of safety, I would never buy one for that fact since I know myself and I do push cars to there limits ( RIP M3 ) Ive seen so many corvette accidents here in Kuwait and most of them end up with the driver either dead or in serious condition.
its def more a muscle car with grrrrunntt at low end. I rode in the 385 (2001) and 2003 405 hp. They are nice cars, but like you said the interior is crap. Both I rode in just had generic flowmaster exhaust btw.
I've driven an 04 that was just awesome. It was completely stock, but still plenty of fun to drive. Still, I could see myself dropping that much money on a car with a Cavalier interior. It's like certain women: fun to play with, but I sure wouldn't want to own one.
The interior is almost identical to Camaros. Just plain black plastic and leather. It does have Heads up Display tho. I think reliabilty for those is really good and alot people do track it including SW in our forum. Plus, even if its not reliable, it should be alot easier to fix than our cars.
