i guess . my life isn't all about bad luck and all that stuff(especially insurance ).. anyways. i'm rolling in a 93 ES300 right now. but one of my friend is hooking me up with a 93 Legend.(with 130K miles) . for FREE!!!.. yes. and it RUNS!!!!.
anyways.can anyone tell me what to check and change when i get the car??.. oil and tranny oil and coolen is a mush.. but what else should i look for??
he said he can't pass inspection.. but no engine light.. so can someone tell me what's up??
he said something about the cat converter.. that shouldn't be more than 200bucks to fix..
reason why he's giving it to me. cuz he got himself a 2005 Lexus RS330 ..
so now my problem is.. what should i do with a LEXUS and a Acura??
which one should be my daily driver and which one should be my pimp mobil??
or sould i just flip the coin every morning??
it's a 4 door L, i think..

I guess it depends on which car is in better condition. My mom has an ES300 which I think is the same as yout 93, but when I had my Legends it was no comparison to me. Mine was an LS though so it had all the full auto climate and whatever else. The L modes are close to base modles so they may be missing a few comfort features.
The Legend is well known for BHG problems so check radiator/coolant.

Well, this is where I always disagree. None of mine n=or any local owners Legends have a problem with the headgasket. What I believe is that potentially many useedLegend's out there could have a headgasket problem because the plastic radiator tends to crack and leak somewhere after 60K miles. If the car ever over heated the potential for a BHG is much greater. Fortunately for me, 2 of the 3 Legend's I've owned I know for a fact that it never overheated and even though I can't be sure on the other one since I don't have the history, all 3 have well over 100K miles and no heating or headgasket trouble, Even though I don't own any of them anymore, my friend bought one of them and my brother and sister bought the other two from me so I'm still very familiar with those cars.
