View Full Version : How did this happened ? (Crash) Gojirra99 08-25-05, 08:20 PM Accident PICS (http://www.compfused.com/directlink/879/) Dx3 08-25-05, 08:27 PM WOW!!! That is insane No idea how that happened!! :uh: Jonny jracerlmn 08-25-05, 10:18 PM probably spun out and the tail went over first Bercasio 08-26-05, 12:30 AM Damn!!! from the looks of it, it came crashing into the post coming from the left side of the pic where those guys are all standing. Meaning that it was probably on the oncoming traffic, lost control for whatever reason, smased the pole, got hooked with the momentum of spininng around over to the edge of the guard rail/road. What do ya' think people, sounds like the masterplan? rominl 08-26-05, 02:22 AM probably spun out and the tail went over first yeah i am pretty sure that's how it happened GS300Rich 08-26-05, 05:01 AM probably spun out and the tail went over first I second this idea  Very lucky it didnt go over Milla... 08-26-05, 07:58 AM probably spun out and the tail went over first I was thinking the same... mkorsu 08-26-05, 08:11 AM Damn!!! from the looks of it, it came crashing into the post coming from the left side of the pic where those guys are all standing. Meaning that it was probably on the oncoming traffic, lost control for whatever reason, smased the pole, got hooked with the momentum of spininng around over to the edge of the guard rail/road. What do ya' think people, sounds like the masterplan? :agree: I think the car hit the pole and momentum carried the rear around the pole and out over the railing. mmarshall 08-26-05, 08:33 AM I'm not sure it was a driver losing control. Looks to me like it was being towed and fell off the flat-bed....or somehow got unhitched from the straps on the tow truck. We can't see much of the road, but in the one shot where you see the curb in front of it, there are no skid marks either on the curb or the small amount of road visible. Leets 08-26-05, 09:03 AM I'll tell you how it happened... Grandma got to drive the Civic for the day. :egads: mmarshall 08-26-05, 09:10 AM I'll tell you how it happened... Grandma got to drive the Civic for the day. :egads: Hey, Hey......there are little old ladies out these who can probably outdrive YOU. Here's one of them...................... http://www.roadandtravel.com/celebrities/denisemccluggage_autohall.htm KVA 08-26-05, 09:36 AM I'll race her any day...if she drives like you it will be over in seconds...lol :D mkorsu 08-26-05, 09:37 AM Hey, Hey......there are little old ladies out these who can probably outdrive YOU. Here's one of them...................... http://www.roadandtravel.com/celebrities/denisemccluggage_autohall.htm Somewhat off topic, but Top Gear on Wednesday night had 70-80 year old women learning how to do donuts in an S2000!!! Frikkiin' awesome! mmarshall 08-26-05, 09:43 AM I'll race her any day...if she drives like you it will be over in seconds...lol :D Well......she didn't get into the Auto Hall of Fame for nothing. And as for me.....I drive sensibly, but that doesn't mean I don't KNOW how to drive otherwise. Knowing HOW to do dumb things and actually DOING them are two different things. Back on the thread topic....this specific accident. I don't totally agree with the Granny-losing-control theory. It is possible, yes, but it still looks to me more likely a case of where the car either got away from a tow truck or a transporter. KVA 08-26-05, 09:47 AM lol...I was just kidding. I realize she is an accomplished driver, but I can still take her :D mmarshall 08-26-05, 09:52 AM lol...I was just kidding. I realize she is an accomplished driver, but I can still take her :D Let's see what Danica is like a a few more years. Coming in fourth ( or was it seventh ? ) at Indy at age 19 is not bad. ( At that age I spent as much time in the back seat as behind the wheel... ;) though I was still a gentleman and used some common sense ) :) Milla... 08-26-05, 11:10 AM Drunk driver, person fell asleep behind the wheel, these are situations that can cause a person not to know what hit'em or what they hit, brakes are ususlly not applied in these cases. Here's one of them...................... http://www.roadandtravel.com/celebrities/denisemccluggage_autohall.htm C'mon M... you know I'm just joking. :p ... We all know that couldn't have been done by a senior citizen... you can't get a car to do that when your top speed is 15mph. :D 1993ES300x 08-26-05, 11:51 AM if the owner is parting it away.. i got dips on the tail lights.. Johnny Rad 08-26-05, 05:30 PM Driver attempted to jump onto the bridge ... almost made it, too! mmarshall 08-27-05, 03:41 PM Drunk driver, person fell asleep behind the wheel, these are situations that can cause a person not to know what hit'em or what they hit, brakes are ususlly not applied in these cases. Good points, Milla  ....I had forgotten the possibility of a driver who was tanked up or stoned. O. L. T. 08-27-05, 09:07 PM The pole clearly grabbed the car from the roadway. It's happened before. http://www.clublexus.com/gallery/data/500/13879devillook.gif |
