IS 350, 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, 1/4 mile under 14 at 104mph
I got to run and buy this car and driver and scan. Info from CL member jlin101, thanks.
Motorweek got a 0-60 run in 5.5 seconds.
Clearly, the new IS is the quickest factory Lexus ever offered to the public. And its now the quickest in its class (which will mean tons to all the guys on the internet that magazine race)

Thanx in advance Mike, I stopped buying car mags a few years ago
It's dipping a bit far into the future, but with the IS 350 pulling in numbers like these, it seems very feasible for the upcoming GS 350 to seriously outperform the current GS 430 if the car gets the same power ratings as the IS.

Now...the GS 460? Yikes!
With increased weight, the GS 350 should AT LEAST be a flat 6 second car, if not as fast as the current GS 430. So yes, the GS 460 may perform as well as the new IS 350, being a low 5 second car.

Considering that the majority of times that I have seen for the GS430 have been in the mid to low sixes...I'd bet the GS350 will outperform it. But we'll see...

Haha and you were the same person who said the new IS350 was only going to have 280 a few months back, your sources were wrong and my sources were direct and right with 325 old SAE ratings since October of last year.
I really doubt Lexus will allow a lower model GS V6 out perform the higher line GS V8 version. Perhaps equal but not surpass. It wouldn't make sense to have a high line v8 version if that.
