I like his car...i know alot of work went into making this look as good as it does
IsraelRX 09-25-05, 10:27 PM Looks well made, I just don't dig the M-B style grill, and GS headlights, other than that nice
That interior is HOT! Im a sucker for a red interior. Something worth considering....

Do we have to like this car? I dont....
ChronoJ1 09-25-05, 11:14 PM Car looks good, except the front end conversion.
I'd go back to the original front.
silversprucesc3 09-26-05, 02:04 AM  Dam_..!
That interior is off da hook.... nice job....
ITs more than I could handle daily but as a show car
its very nice.... good work ;)
GS300Rich 09-26-05, 05:00 AM That interior and system is serious. Not feelin the GS headlights because it doesnt flow with the car. I can definately appreciate all the hard work that went into this, but that interior is just :eek2:
1993ES300x 09-26-05, 05:31 AM i like this car.. i am feeling the GS headlight on it but i guess everybody has their own.. the red inside is freaking AWSOME..

You just couldn't resist, could you? LOL :D
Actually it was Ray Charles' house.
About the car... incredible amount of work and looks very well done - congrats prettyboy.
Are you the guy who used to have staggered wheels where you had wider rears than fronts? I thought that was your TL...
James
njzprettyboy 09-26-05, 02:13 PM thanks for the comments guys, both pos. and neg....but there was a lot of hard work & time involved to get it right :)
TLW-JP kit is looking real nice bro,
--no i didnt have the staggered wheels (TL is FWD, why stagger?)
--no i didnt have the staggered wheels (TL is FWD, why stagger?)
Exactly. The other guy threw that to the wind and got flamed pretty badly. I didn't wanna come off rude so just thought I'd ask. :)

Trust me when you see the car in person, you stand there like " damn thats a NICE interior job" it has the e46 M3 interior look , not the tacky "pimp my ride red EVERYTHING" look. Also the trunk is serious as are the wheels 20" Weds equally :pimpin:, although the headlights may not have been what i would have done, as I think the TL's are actually handsome cars, the overall job is nice. The body work is clean and the TSX mirrors are a nice subtle touch.
Nice job prettyboy, I know how long it took to get it right!
1SICKLEX 09-26-05, 03:58 PM I couldn't resist not posting in this thread, even as I leave my "no comment" :D
That looks nice. I probably would have stayed with the stock headlights or maybe upgraded to the 2002 lights. I love the suede interior. It looks outstanding. What shop in NJ did all of your work(or did you do it yourself)?? I dont know of any in my part of NJ.

R&B auto in philly...they do AMAZING work....pm me for info if you want it...
ArmyofOne 09-27-05, 12:59 AM If i was gonna convertto any front end it would have been an IS300. not that i dont liek the GS series conversion, but it DOESNT flow with the MB grill IMO.
now a complete IS300 front would look Kickass IMO.
kinda nice but yet kinda Frankenstein :uh:

someone has done that recently, i didnt really like the way it came out...maybe is was the fact that the fact that the bodywork was pretty shoddy :uh:
GS headlights do not look right with the TL, cuz those headlights only look good on chunky cars such as the GS and the TL is kinda too skinny IMO.....but good try though
Looks well made, I just don't dig the M-B style grill, and GS headlights, other than that nice
I couldn't agree with you more.
I like the front of the TL, but im not feeling what you did. The work looks good, reguardless.
J
LT. LEX 09-28-05, 01:10 PM I like the I N S P I R E written on the back....
I'm going to agree with the majority by saying good job on the effort put in to the project but just not felling the front end. So many other choices that could have made this a truly outstanding car.
retrodrive 09-28-05, 05:50 PM Love the subwoofer.
