Which do u like better Yellow or Clear fog Lights.

I switched from clear to yellow.

Someone on the forum told me the yellow fogs are somewhat of a "Lexus"thing.Ive noticed lately a lot of questions from people about my fogs when Im driving and how nice it looks(HID).Its legal in NJ so I keep em on all the time..

Yellow. They do such a better job in the fog and rainy days, plus I think it looks better. To bad the newer Lexus' no longer have them.

For the GS, it's part of the Look. Blue HID's with yellow fogs. If you do anything to upgrade them, just stick some HID's in you fogs to make them B.A.F.! :thumbup:

Yellow is indeed a classic lexus trademark, sure the acuras had them first but if you go all the way back, Toyota was the first of the two to use them :D btw YELLOW ALL THE WAY!!

Well my yellow fogs will be here by friday and by then i should have my mind made up!

I will most likely keep the yellow and sell the clear fogs. Will update after i install. :thumbup:

Just ordered new yellow fogs myself. However, I will probably change the OEM bulb. The bulb part I need to research.

If you have OEM HIDs then you automatically have yellow fogs. The stock white fogs were only installed on GS's the were NOT equipped with HIDs from the factory. The external lens is not yellow, there is an internal yellow lens or reflector that imparts the yellow color. The bulb and external lens are clear.

You can certaintly use the 9006 bulb that is already in your white fogs. If you have HID headlights, and you want to have your fogs have the same or comparable brightness as your HID, then you may want to change the bulbs in your fogs. The OEM bulb is is dull compared to a lot of the replacement options. An additional option, you can put an HID kit onto your fogs. For me, I would rather just change the bulb. Besides, my GS4 is a 98, so I might as well change them anyway. ;)

I have a pair of yellow fogs but the internal yellow parts are broken. Still want them? I have images. The exterior is in GREAT shape but there is little pieces of yellow floating around.

I loved my yellow fogs but the glass broke so I had to resort to white for now.

I have clear fogs with PIAA Super White 9006. For people with clear fogs and want the yellow color, here's a suggestion.

i personally like the yellow fogs, it gives that classy look thing-me don't like those hyper whites, it makes it look like a ricey aproaching, BUT i'll give u :thumbup: :thumbup: if ur fogs are HIDs!!!...looks awesome! (w/ HID headlight ofkorz). well now-a-days the only way i can call the car a lexus [at night] it's because of these yellow fogs :)
