The #1 rated luxury sedan in Russia and the best selling luxury SUV=LEXUS
In the magazine TOP GEAR, there is an article on the new GS 430 and Russia. Russia is coming around slowly with a middle class and products available to all people. Lexus has been an absolute HIT in Russia, they sell as many cars in Russia as the U.K already.
The LS 430 was voted as the best luxury sedan and the RX 330 is the best selling luxury SUV in Russia.
I'll re-read the article and tell more, no need to scan as the pics were not that great.
One cute thing, though the GS 430 had NAV, it CANNOT be used in Russia. No car can have NAV per the government.

Yeah the Cold War IS over, Russia let your ppl use their NAVI systems!!!
Actually, glad to hear confirmation of Lexus' success in Russia...hopefully more and more people will be able to afford Lexus cars in the future there!

Russians have enjoed the lexus as long as americans did(not as widely spread) but nevertheless. exporting used cars to russia from US was a widely spread business in russian US comunity. not as proffitable right now but 5-7 years ago that bussines was HUGE.
Lexus cars were always in high demand, for its luxury and reliability.
