I'll kick this off. Right now I'm rolling the 99 ES Coach. Pretty soon I'm thinking about some nice changes/additions. The next car in 06 looks like its gonna be an M45. With all I'm reading in the mags and after driving the hell out of the 06 GS430 at the Taste of Lexus Event I'm just not feeling the new Lex. Its a really good car no great car don't get me wrong but something keeps pulling me toward the M45 over the GS. Maybe its the performance edge or something. Anyhow, that's probably whats up next for moi and in the next few years this is what my own stable of cars will be/look like
-Current 1999 ES300 (Probably keeping this till the wheels fall off)
-2006 IS350 (AKA the new Lexus pocket rocket. Super fun to drive) Navi Blue on Black
-2006 Infiniti M45 Sport Obsodian Black on tAn
-2006 Lex SC430 (my new favorite all around coupe) Red on Ivory (Hate the fact they changed the color to Maroon)
-And my wish dammit I gotta bust my @zz off but it'll be worth it: 2006 Aston Marton Vanquish V12 Greenish silver color on white (Hell I'll take any model of the current body style of this beauty)
Will be interesting to see the new LS, will give me if an idea if an '07 will make my list. The Nissan Fuga/M45 is also a car I have some interest in but have little idea of. Simply a fun thought.
Trying to be thrifty for another car a handful of years away.
My next new car is at least several years away and it's hard to predict this far in advance......but it will probably be either another Lexus or Subaru.....although Subaru's new grilles, like Audi's, IMO are a real turn-off.
Henry...........if you can afford a new LS, more power to you.
Only car I kept is my 99 GS400.
Before divorce I had:
2002 Tundra TRD Limited
1996 Toyota T100
1996 Honda Prelude
1999 GS4
Cars I'd like to get:
New Lexus LS most definitely!!
Toyota Supra TT 6spd (newer model)
1970 Chevy Chevelle RS (not sure if year is correct, and I think the RS was faster than the SS)
Toyota Land Cruiser or Tundra TRD (newer model)
Now I have the 99 ES and 95 SC. I'll always keep the SC but will most likely trade the ES in for a newer model. WIll also add:
G35
Someones SUV, leaning toward the Envoy. Saw one on 22's and can't get it out of my head. My wife likes it too but would prefer the Cayenne. I kepp telling her I forbid anything German from entering the kingdom but she thinks she can wear me down.
I keep forgetting I also own a 92 Chevy truck. I never drive it. The guys who works with my lawn service company keeps it at his house.
Wishlist:
-1973 Pontiac Trans Am SD-455 (Currently trying to trade the 340 Challenger for a '74 SD-455)
-1967 Galaxy
-1987 Buik GNX (Also trying to trade the same Challenger for one of these)
-1970 Ford Torino Super Cobra Jet

My first car was a 1973 Gran Torino, I had to get rid of it because my father got sick of it leaking everywhere. I remember my last drive, my dad was wonderin how the hell I could drive it, was raining hard wipers wern't working being passed by every vehicle on the highway, deafining exhaust note, and a stop at the gas station to check gas and fill the oil.
Current stable:
- 2001 Lexus ES300 (mine)
- 2005 Sienna XLE Limited (parents)
- 1998 BMW 740iL (parents)
Future stable:
- A daily beater, used yet well maintained car for my wife, probably a 1990-1995 Altima or Camry
- Either a pre-owned '05 or later Lexus LS430 or MB S350 to replace the 740iL
- A low mileage, well maintained 2002 or later GS300 to replace the high mileage ES (currently at 116K)
