I'm pretty sure the car being chased is supposed to spin out. I doubt they would hire a driver that sucks that bad. I mean, they could find better talent at a drift practice event, much less a professional hired stunt driver.

Although, I 'm not sure why the hell a mustang is supposed to handle better.... but whatever...

Maybe they're trying to capture the domestic crowd with part 3... the Camaro and the Cuda in part 2 just didn't cut it for them.

Just curious, but how did the Fast and Furious movies "ruin the import scene."

I thought all the modded vehicle guys ate those films up and the movies made the whole trend even more popular.

Is it because it brought it out in the public so much? Is it like your mom saying "off the chain" and then you not wanting to use that phrase ever again?

Well because it's definitely not how I personally race my car( if I were too anyways ) for example F&F2 they were racing around the city jumping bridges and what not, or on the highway doing 90mph in reverse flipping the bird and yelling “how you like them apples” just stupid .(I don’t know about anyone else but I can't do it in my car). It’s like the movie torque or biker boys. People who ride don't go jumping their bikes on moving trains sliding the rear-end out and not fall off. Or even having a freakin wheelie style sword fights with their bikes, what the hell is that all about? . Well going back to F&F just ruined the whole principle of modifying your car. Usually people turbocharged their cars to gain horsepower not slapping on a huge vinyl sticker or a big a$$ piece of aluminum on the trunk.

I think the directors/writers should do a lot more research on the street racing, import, domestic (at least the hemi cuda didn't look retarded like most of the import cars in the movie), and drifting scene. It's great to see nsx and supras in movies, but just not like that. Why can't F&F be like some of these japanese flicks it's 10x more realistic.
