Production OK has been given to the new mid-sized Dodge Nitro SUV at the Toledo, OH plant, as this vehicle shares a number of components with the Jeep Liberty, also built there. The Nitro, while somewhat unconventional-looking with its horizontally-flared fenders, nevertheless gives Dodge an entry in the popular small-to-medium size SUV market.
