Defensive line/linebacking, GOOD (2nd most sacks in NFL)
Special Teams, DECENT.
Secondary, PISS POOR, but who needs secondary when you can get in the QB's face every time.


the only real thing they have not going for them is experience. They haven't won a playoff game in a long arse time.

you can't go wrong with Alexander, he's been a stud not only this season but for a couple of seasons already, and the passing game will open up as a result of him.

I think Seahawks take it however. :thumbup:

Based on coaching ability, it would have to be Joe Gibbs and the Redskins.....but based on actual team performance, I'm going to chicken out here :chicken: and not make a prediction......at this point, any one of several teams could do it. Indianapolis and Seattle in particular look impresssive.

I can't believe only one other person said the Colts. Despite losing those 2 games (1 of which was with second and third stringers), they are the best team in the NFL this year. The defense is still rather porous, but so are the D's of most other playoff teams this year. This is the year of the Offense. And when Indy fires on all cylinders, not one team in the NFL can touch them.

Of course, the X-Factor here is that Indy has a track record of doing poorly in clutch situations. But, I feel this is the year they finally overcome that hurdle. Indy vs. Seattle. Indy by 9.

I think a big factor will be the rain, those balls get heavy and the winds swirls pretty good in that stadium, you saw Moss have a little trouble and I think we'll be able to scheme a pass defense set up to stop Steve Smith (the only real threat the Panthers have) and our defensive line should be able to contain Goings.

Offense, Alexander needs to play and play well, I expect to see a little more of Morris mixed in than usual and that will keep both fresh for the whole game, if Hasslebeck can avoid a key mistake then they should stay balanced and do well against a very good Carolina defense.
