SO I guess the o's and Millar have agreed to a one year deal worth 2.1mill.
SO that means he will be returning to Fenway next year and I hope we give him a standing ovation. The guy stunk last year yes, but he bled Red Sox when he was here. I respect the mana nd hope he does well.
Thanks for the memories Millllaaaaaaaahhhhh.

Can't believe you let this guy go and picked up Snow. This is an example of your offensive downgrade. ;)

Downgrade?//???????????????????????? We got rid of Millar whose nickname last year was either Rally Killer or Automatic out, they guy flat out stunk last year, I would be an upgrade offensivley nevermind Jt Snow. DOnt you worry Bone we will be fine, we will score runs you just watch. ;)

J.T. Snow is an offensive and defensive upgrade over Millar.
J.T. Snow is one of the best defensive first basemen.

Good luck to Millar.

First off, notice the amount of games. Snow has been injured quite a bit during the past three years so the stats are a bit off. It looks to me like, yes, CONSISTANTLY more home runs, more ribbies, about the same eye (walks), better slugging, a 20 point better hitter and so on. I even added their career averages to give snow an edge for his "hay day" when he was the consistant gold glove winning solid hitter he used to be. I haven't seen it in awhile. Maybe this year he'll be fully healed? Let's hope so.

You guys can dog on me but don't do it when I have the stats at my fingers. I do tend to know what I'm talking about when it comes to baseball. :)

Bone no one is questioning your know about baseball, I actually respect your analysis and the passion u share for the game like mine. BUT some things just arent cut and dry and Millar was on his down years even though I liked him he needed to move on. I think Snow will have a nice fresh start and provide just a little offense we need.

Hey Anthony :)

I respect your posts and I enjoy them very much!!!

I "think" getting Snow was the right thing to do. I might be right and I might be wrong. I guess we will find out.

I hate to see Millar go. And I think Renteria deserved another year. But I guess Red Sox management decided to make changes immediately.

I look forward to the Mets vs. Red Sox games as well. :D

Take care buddy!

Millar was on his way down like J said, You got about as much as you could expect from this guy. JT snow is not an offensive upgrade but Snow and Yukolus will be about even to what millar would have given but defensivly you guys have a huge upgrade with Snow. Now I still don't understand why you got rid of Rentaria. Let him get his feet wet in the AL and he would have hit big for you this year, Dumb move imo especially when you already traded your Big SS prospect in the Lowe/Beckett trade. I have to wondor what the hell the O's are thinking they will get from this guy?

Apologies guys.. I think I came off like a snot and with an attitude in my post here and in the other post I made about the jays. It was unintended. :)

Cheers to a good season. I really hope Youkilis gets some more playing time this year because he hasn't really been given a chance yet.
