I don't even watch baseball anymore hardly unless a Braves game is on but I friggin hate the Yankees!! I don't hate anyone on the team more than anyone else.. but I hate the team as a whole. I'm an equal oppurtunity hater. Buncha no good overpaid underachievers ! Their management / owner is lame too. I remember they lost a couple games in a row last season and Steinbrenner was whining on a podium about how there they shouldnt lose since they have the most expensive team in baseball.

LOL Hey I can't say anything good about the Braves as of late - I wouldn't really consider myself a huge fan of them - they play their games on local channels here and I like Chipper Jones but hey only a team like the Stankees can lose the world series when they were sooooo close :woohoo:

Sorry....I'm not a Yankee hater. Steinbrenner is correct. They shouldn't be losing.....but not because of money. They should be winning because they are GOOD, which they ARE.....and they have one heck of a great owner. If people dislike Steinbrenner because he treats his team well and spends money on them, then that is not HIS fault. :egads:

Yes but he was complaining about them spending all that money and then still losing - no one was questioning their playing ability. There's just nothing appealing to me about being the most 'expensive and talented' team in Baseball. It's like their expected to win every game or every world series just because they dumped a bunch of money into their athletes. That's so lame, and it's why I always favor the underdog..or the teams that are thrown together with mediocre players that play well together.

I'd love to have an owner like George, all he wants to do is win. I went to NY for the first time last May and one thing that stood out to me was the Yankee support. Yankee stuff was everywhere, you'd never know that they also have the Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Islanders, Rangers, and whoever else i'm missing but damn you can't miss the Yankees.

Sorry A, but I hate the stinken yanks!! almost as much as the Giants!! It was great in 04 when we took 2 outta 3 from yah in interleague play...I was there at Dodger Stadium ....sweet old school rivalry........can you imagine a sold out dodgers stadium chanting YANKEES SUCK !!!! :D ...

HAHA, that was funny..LOL I wish they paid me to be a fan but I've been a fan since the early 80's when I remember watching Donnie basball,Randolph,Winfield, Pags and Raghetti. I went through lots of years of losing so when we started to win in the late 90's I had to be overyjoyed by our success.

You can Hate all you want but that won't change the 26 World Championships. where no team in ALL of SPORTS can say they have more...

When it comes to the Big George, Yes he gets to involved and Yes he spends way too much on the team and we don't win every year but I rather have an owner who will front the bill every summer to get the best players he can than cheap owners like the Braves owners who let players go to save money. I know spening doesn't always mean winning but you can say that about a lot of teams like the Mets, Redsox, Angles to name a few..

No Braves fan could ever talk about the Yankees.The Braves are the best team, that knows how the be the worst, at the worst possible time.

They were my team when they had Gant/Justice and won the rings and had some heart and character. Since then, they are like robots.

Bobby Cox is the worst manager in history, to have such a good team

Yanks better watch out for the Blue Jays this year! & yes I am a huge Yankee fan.....but Toronto is first. :p :D
