So they had their big parade today. good for them! A buddy of mine works in an office building right above the parade, said there were like 250,000 people out there today. Crazy!
That's great, the only thing missing are those ahole ref's. :egads:

the steelers made more big plays and the seahawks didnt... the refs did NOT give up a 75 yard TD run, a reverse pass for a TD or miss those 2 field goals... so LEAVE the refs out of it... the steelers won and THATS ALL THAT MATTERS in the end, doesnt it :uh: :egads: :woot: :woohoo:

Thank you!!!! :woohoo:
and the refs didnt drop 4 passes b/c they heard Joey Porter's footsteps all day either. :D
The best team always FINDS a way to win. Just like the Steelers did to beat Indy....even with a game full of bad calls against them. The Steelers didnt even play that great of a game to be honest.
I thought the purpose of this thread was to check out parade pics anyway, not to complain about Seattle losing. :uh:

ha ha....that's cold-blooded you bird-fan, you :p
No, I was going to head over there since I'm only 10 min out of the city, but then I changed my mind. It seemed like it would just be too chaotic getting in and out of the city, which many people confirmed it was. I'm getting too old to deal with that crap...lol. News coverage was awesome, though. Look out, Joey Porter is calling for a repeat for next season...lol. Big surprise, right. ;)

Ummm did you forget about Da Bears! We've been around just a little bit longer than your Steelers.
Anyway congrats to the Steelers.
On another note, that call in the end zone on D Jackson was terrible (I'm a Bears fan). Not that it would have changed the outcome, but it certainly would have changed how the teams approached the game and MAY have had an impact on the outcome, but we will never know. Trust me, Hines has pushed off 10 times harder than that on many plays w/o it being called, to think that was a penalty is just wrong. Besides the defender was leaning the other way which made it look worse than it was. And Ben wasn't in for the TD, but they still had 4th down and Bettis from the goal line is almost a sure thing, so it is highly likely that they still would have gotten the TD.
Overall I am disappointed that it wasn't a better game. Seattle, except for a few plays outplayed them. More 1st downs, more yardage, greater time of possession, etc. But that is part of the luck factor. Up to that point Pittsburgh was the better team beating Cincy, Indy, and the Denver Donkeys. Certainly they played Championship Football in those 3 games. Unfortunate that they didn't play a better game against Seattle even though they came away with the win.
