I saw a VERY rare car today, I will take pictures of it tomorrow since I know where it parks. Can you guess what it is? I think only 208 were ever made. The car was crafted in Italy, body/chassis. The engine inside is a Ford V8 Cobra engine, supercharged. Made by the famous De Tomaso.
LOL you are right, they were two different cars, my mistake
But the Qvale is indeed correct, and its the one I saw! I don't know that it's technically an exotic since it cost only $70,000, but perhaps because of the design and the rarity of it, it is indeed an exotic.
The Mangusta was originally bult in the late 60's and early 70's, at which point it was redesigned and became the famous De Tomaso Pantera. In 1996, Tomaso brought the Mangusta back but dropped the De Tomaso name. Instead it became the Qvale Mangusta.
The first one was a Protomotors Spirra, it was mislabeled when I took the picture.
Now THAT is a rare exotic... I've never even heard of it... Although from what I found on the internet, it has about the same HP as my IS350. Much faster though, because it's so much lighter...

Same with the Qvale, its got a 320 hp supercharged ford V8, but that car is not THAT much quicker than the cars these days. I think 0-60 on the Qvale is listed at around 5.4.
edit: I think the Protomotors Spirra and the Qvale share the same V8 both producing 320 hp supercharged, but you are correct that the Spirra is light, it's about 1200 lbs in curb weight less than the Qvale.
