I was reading on rotoworld that Kevin brown is hanging them up. Poor guy never made it in NY. Was a good pitcher when he didnt have to deal with pressure. Not a hall of famer but still was pretty good.

...

good pitcher who had 2 great years and 2 really good years...I agree, no way he makes the HOF

he'll probably will be remembered for being baseballs first $100 million man more then having one of the best sinking fastballs in baseball. He threw a really "heavy" ball.

oh and he robbed the Dodgers

I'm sure Steinbrenner is thrilled. :D Yeah I agree with you guys. In now way is this guy a Hall Man. If that's the case, then Donnie Baseball deserves his shrine.

I have to give it to Brown. He and agent Scott Boras pulled off the biggest scam in baseball history. good riddens.

I'm still here homie. I know I haven't posted much but I'm still around.

I just like the fact that noone's really talking about the Red Sox being a threat this year. I love being the underdog team. I've always rooted for underdogs. Whatta you hearing J? How's Beckett and Schill look? I heard Foulke is feeling better after his surgery. That's great news, Because I feel our bullpen (and well the IF bats) are our biggest ?'s

We definitely have to get to a game together this year 4-real bro. You ain't married yet is ya? LOL!

EDIT: You started this thread so it's cool if we jack it right? LOL! :D

Bro everyone looks good. Beckett damn man the dude is a giant. Schill looks awesome and should give us 15-20 wins this year. The only problem is Wells, he is hurt and cant really throw and he wants to be traded. So hopefully everyone meshes.
Oh and Coco, I gotta give the kid credit, he is saying all the right things. Looks confident should be a great addition to the lineup.
We should defenitley go to a game bro. And no not married although engaged last weekend :woot:

Yo there Dom!! What's up kid??

As a Yankee fan, I have learned to NEVER take the SAWX lightly. I still expect us to come out ahead :p , but I don't underestimate the Red Sox. Both teams have made some decent offseason moves. Still a little while to go though before we can really start to see if the moves show serious potential.

As for Kevin Brown. Ok, I'll say it. I was never a KB hater. I kinda liked the guy. True, he could not handle the pressure in NY (surprising as the pressure in LA is almost as bad), his back issues didn't help, and dumba$$ moves like punching the wall sealed the deal for his instability. But you can't deny that when he was on the guy could pitch. Unfortunately, he could never link 7-9 innings of being "on" together! :D
