(Target is between 20-30) sleepybobcat 08-27-01, 05:08 PM I included the Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible because 86 percent of the buyers are female blondes(real ones) in their mid to late 20s... most are pretty and unmarried as well!!! This is according to my college buddy who is a local Saab dealership's finance manager... That's what I observe on the highways also... (around here anyway) Strange, ain't it? My Lexus salesman said only 10 percent of the SC430 buyers are female. (not counting the wives whose husbands buy SC430s for them) retrodrive 08-27-01, 05:45 PM I would think Merc would be the biggest babe magnet. Since my LS400 is not listed i went with SL500. Its all about who is in the car though  RacingAristo 08-27-01, 06:12 PM Chicks dig bimmers and it's been tested over my high school period of time. :D I still miss my M3.... :o LexusRules 08-27-01, 07:19 PM i'd have to say the porche would win just cause of its look, and the fact that chicks would think a porche is really fast and cool to have, and also they'd think it was "cute." in my opinion the porche is nice, but its no lexus, but hey i dont love lexus for chicks, i love lexus because i do D-MAN63 08-28-01, 05:11 AM Originally posted by 1SICKLEX Lexus for instance chicks say I have the "bubble eye" one (for GS). hahha, yeah I really hear girls say that. I wish a GS would be on that list !!!!!!! Don't ya'll think that GS's are babe magnets?:) mooretorque 08-28-01, 06:10 AM "Target is between 20 - 30." Presumably you are referring to their IQ...........:p 1SICKGOAT 07-11-05, 10:42 PM This is almost 4 years old!!! Moved to CAr chat BlkGS3 07-12-05, 12:32 AM the Vett takes this one hands down vraa 07-12-05, 12:32 AM Unless your in Euro Land the SL is an 03' model. Not 02. I would know :) RiverRat 07-12-05, 05:45 AM I went with the boxster, from my experience, once they find out that someone is driving a boxter, they get quite flirty. Gojirra99 07-12-05, 06:40 AM "Target is between 20 - 30." Presumably you are referring to their IQ...........:p LMAO :D  SoCalSC4 07-12-05, 09:47 AM This is amusing! The answer is: Ducati 999! Oh... that's not on the list? Here is my take of how women MAY perceive these cars: Lexus SC 430: great for attracting mid-40s women- divorcees and/or realtors. Don't get me wrong, I love the SC- but the customer demographic is more... "sophisticated." Saab: a what? Are they still in business? Saabs and Volvos are still for CPAs. Can't you lease those for $299 a month? Porsche Boxster: may impress girls, but not women. Entry level Porsche. A player would be in a 911. Audi TT convertible: Your ex-wife's car you somehow got in the divorce. Corvette convertible: (Let me just say I DO like this car...) but owners are typically 50 year-old guys with a gut. Maybe balding. Not a young guy's car. Mercedes SL (R230 chassis): You can get away with this car anyplace, any age. If you're a player, you'll step-up for the SL55 or better. Women of all ages respect it. Mercedes CLK55: A nice "almost made it" car. The CLK is not the most masculine car on the planet, though... BMW M3: "Around these parts," you look like every other UCI student in one of these. . To women, it's a fancy 3-series. She'll give you her number... AFTER you step-up to a 6-series. Of this list, the clear winner is the SL. Celicamaro 07-12-05, 10:54 AM None of those, a Civic with a bunch of stickers and a huge wing has a way better chance of scoring. Why? Cuz the drivers are usually young, decent looking, got the right attitude and slicks with his words cuz he's a player. An ultra expensive fancy car might get you thru the door, but to score you need more. Out of those on the lists, only the SL has the best chance, but only if you're some kind fo rapper or celebrity. Otherwise it's just another rich old mans car, it's the rappers that made Mercs desireable to younger chicks. Have y'all notice that no rapper in their right mind even chooses a 3 or 5series? Once in a while you see a loaded 7 series on dub, bottome line is Bimmers just don't have the prestige. Faraaz23 07-12-05, 02:56 PM Almost every girl I know describes the new SL as simply one word.... "sex" BkLexZ 07-12-05, 03:43 PM I would take the Saab and Audi of that list asap because those cars are in no way a chick magnet. Im thinking of getting rid of my gs3 for the sl500, that isnt just sex its an orgy lkirchner 07-12-05, 04:03 PM Your take on the BMW 6 series? :) Very nice car if were to lose that hump on the trunk and get a better quality interior. videcormeum 07-12-05, 04:19 PM Um, I don't think it must matter that much. I just had a complete stranger, a female, come knocking on my door asking me to: "please take a second [out of my day to] listen because [blah blah blah she's] taking a speech class] and there'd be points involved [blah blah blah]. Do [I] like Italy? That's where I'm trying to go just look at this packet and I need a date and what kinda car is that out there in the driveway, it's nice." (hands me this odious looking packet) ... "It's a Nissan. I'd like to hand this back to you now." (Stalks off looking disappointed) ... Wow. M. GQD_GS4 07-12-05, 04:30 PM the curves on a white sc430 draw mounds of attention!! MGS4 07-12-05, 04:46 PM I'm going to go with "none of the above" I vote for Toyota Prius. no joke ARISTO*7 07-12-05, 05:11 PM i must say the m3 converible. G35_TX 07-12-05, 05:46 PM G35 Coupe..... 1SICKGOAT 07-12-05, 07:29 PM 1. This list is 4 years old, did ya'll miss :D that? Being I am an expert in the babes, its about prestige and panache and brand. Most don't know or care about cars, about HP, about Slalom times, about value, about where its built. They know BMW, Benz, LExus, Porsche, Corvette, Cadillac, those brands come out of womans mouths more than any others. THey are desired by woman and woman are attracted to men that drive these cars. Of course woman like other cars as well but those cars are what women speak of when the time comes to talk about cars. cyclemax 07-12-05, 07:37 PM This is amusing! The answer is: Ducati 999! Oh... that's not on the list? This is so true. I'm well out of the game now, but pulling up on a hooked-up bike is like shooting fish in a barrel. Probably all that bad-boy stuff. NoS 07-12-05, 09:05 PM Lexus GS' I really dont like any of those cars. Every different girl will like a different car. Celicamaro 07-12-05, 09:33 PM 1. You're right, women desire those brands more, problem is, once they get one of those vehicles for themselves and quickly realizes that it drives not much better than your average Honda and Toyotas, they start using them to pickup cool looking badboy dudes in suped up Hondas or Hummers to make up for what the cars couldn't deliver. But they'll still come home to the dude who gave them the bimmer. videcormeum 07-12-05, 09:49 PM Of course woman like other cars as well but those cars are what women speak of when the time comes to talk about cars. Yeah, I've found that womAn (nice touch) looking for men value the brands you mentioned - but when THEY are looking for a car that THEY have to buy HERself ... watch out Pontiac (sunfire) and VW (new beetle) chickens are coming. BLK13X 07-12-05, 10:32 PM Meh... who really uses their car to pick up though? I guess it's alright if it's for one-night-booty :D And holy crap... looking at the cars you mention in the list to pick up with, girls in the US must be something nuts to pick up  Over here a lot love Skylines etc... which is an easy step forward when I say I own a Lex (they don't care if it's JDM hahah) :D Jose DrDrilZ 07-13-05, 06:12 AM i think theyd be more attracted to the MB SL. they tend to buy and drive the SC tho. mjr24 07-13-05, 07:41 PM I dont know about you guys....but I purposely ignore any girl who says anything about my car. We get such in depth and soul searching topics and questions such as: How do you drive your Lexus? Where do you wash your Lexus? What is your age? There are even times when a true discussion of the cars happens. And now :banghead: :banghead: advice to the down trodden, insecure, lack of confidence car owner. The next things that I am sure we will get are Dear Abby posts, how to win friends and influence people, save the environment discussions and finally how to eat healthy while driving your Lexus. AlwaysLate 07-14-05, 05:01 PM I'm not surprised to see that the SC430 holds second place considering this is a Lexus forum. However, If anything, the SC is a chick car, not a chick magnet. The only time I can see an SC attracting a women is if they want to get the same car for themselves, not because it poses some masculine presence (women typically prefer a car with a more masculine presence when they hunt for their prey). My list would go as follows: 1.) Mercedes-benz SL 2.) BMW M3 Convertible 3.) Porsche Boxster 4.) Chevrolet Corvette 5.) MB CLK55 AMG Cabriolet 6.) Audi TT Roadster 7.) Lexus SC430 8.) Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible I have to say though that with the proper set of rims (deep-dish), black exterior and red interior, the SC430 would be two or three notches higher on my list. But then again do that to all the cars (except the SAAB  ) it would be equal again. reggiek 07-14-05, 06:16 PM :egads: :egads: This forum amazes me. Thanks for the analysis DR PHIL.... :p Dynasty SC 07-14-05, 07:46 PM id agree, the MB SL is the car that will get you the most attention... masculine, modern, and exotic looking. secondly i would say the MB CLK55 cabrio... still the benz name that they know... looks slightly outdated but still expensive and exotic. then the porsche, because of brandname...most girls sort of think of the M3 as just an expennsive 3 series... not all that special, still it comes next, the vette is probably too harsh of a ride and too crappy of an interior. the audi TT and SC430 are girls cars... girls would want the car for themselves. it is more of a "cute" girls car. any that argue for the SC... see the 4000 lb only comes in automatic beast. 1SICKGOAT 07-14-05, 08:48 PM id agree, the MB SL is the car that will get you the most attention... masculine, modern, and exotic looking. secondly i would say the MB CLK55 cabrio... still the benz name that they know... looks slightly outdated but still expensive and exotic. then the porsche, because of brandname...most girls sort of think of the M3 as just an expennsive 3 series... not all that special, still it comes next, the vette is probably too harsh of a ride and too crappy of an interior. the audi TT and SC430 are girls cars... girls would want the car for themselves. it is more of a "cute" girls car. any that argue for the SC... see the 4000 lb only comes in automatic beast. I love Porsche and the Boxster and many 911 owners joke the Boxster is a "womans" Porsche. Many don't accept it. And I agree, you say MERCEDES BENZ and that attracts hella attention. Great comment about the M3, most don't know the difference between a 325 and a M3. I'm not surprised to see that the SC430 holds second place considering this is a Lexus forum. The SC is a chick magnet, period, no matter if you like it or not. 1. Its a 65k car 2. Its a Lexus 3. Nothing else looks like it 4. Top notch luxury 5. Convertible hard top. Shallow for a woman to like and to say, yes but you put those 5 characteristics to most ANY brand, woman will like it. MEN will like it. :egads: :egads: This forum amazes me. Don't even get me started on linking threads from the Benz forum bub. People are entitled to they're opinions. IN this thread clearly many disagree with one another. No one will EVER find anyone that is not attracted to a material object. Otherwise we would wear bare essentials, use mass transit and fancy restaurants would all be extinct, etc etc. Most everyting people do, is to buy something they want or to attract other people. I agree, people DO indeed buy cars/rims/jewelry, etc etc to attract woman. Can we knock they're hustle? We might not agree with it but think about it, they will attract groupies and woman lacking quality more than anything. So its almost a moot point. Why do you only put convertibles and roadsters in the vote? You think women love open-top vehicles only? THE POLL IS 4 YEARS OLD!!! And its a poll, you can ask almost ANYTHING you want. Why not start another poll? Okay, I've posted more pics of woman and me and with my cars than probably anyone here, so I am going to kick some knowledge. But first THIS THREAD IS 4 YEARS OLD, THESE CARS ARE NO LONGER NEW!! I dont know about you guys....but I purposely ignore any girl who says anything about my car. Girls like that are trash. That is cool but if you do DRIVE a Lexus or a car with status, people WILL look and WILL comment and it WILL attract wanted attention and unwanted attention.
