I remember that tuner he made some seriously SICK Toyota MR2s. Turbo rockets and he won best tuner car ever for his V6 Supercharged MR2, it won every single category, handling, braking, power, looks ,etc.
Why not just turbo the motor instead of going through all of the work of adding the V8?
well, if you get that v8, do a rebuld, you can get 500rwhp (together with tranny upgrades of course). and that's faster than a turbo 300 engine coz' no turbo lag. believe me the v8 engine can be tuned into a real monster, even before putting any FI on it
This gets my respect. I often thought about doing a swap of V8 into my RX300, but that would take too much work, but it would be way better than turbocharging.
I can see the gas mileage now 10mpg city 12 mpg highway
well a stock v8 engine is 18/23. even with my mods i am getting around 15/20. so unless he does a complete rebuild and everything very aggressive, i think it's not going to be that bad
i am interested in knowing what tranny it's going to use, and also about the ecu
