My God the new E55/E63 owns me even more than the last one!PICS!
The scorching AMG version of the E-Class makes a drastic change by ditching the current supercharged engine for a freer revving 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V8. The engine, built entirely in-house by AMG, features high-strength silicon-aluminum alloy, four valves per cylinder, a variable intake manifold and valve timing. It is rated at 503 hp and 465 lb-ft-which is a gain of 34 hp but a loss of 51 lb-ft compared to the 5.5-liter V8 in the previous AMG E-Class.
Also, I couldn't make out what the badge on the front fender says now. It obviously can't be V8 Kompressor... although it looks too long to be just plain V8

I think that batch says 6.3 AMG now, that's what it says on both the CLS63 & CLK63.
The station wagon is still ugly, but the sedan is fine, but I don't like the cosmetic changes made for the facelift, so now I 'd take the CLS63 over the E63 easy . . .
Very nice. Not a big fan of station wagons but if it had 500 hp I would take it
you could get the dodge magnum SRT-8, not as much power as the E63 but its still powerful, when u get it, tell them Ashley Looper from Cornelius NC thats works at Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge referred you, i get paid extra for that I got bills to pay
Nice... I need to get myself one of those someday. Any word on how much that motor will put out in the S, SL and CL?
Not sure about the S or the CL, but I think I've read from MBWorld that there won't be a SL63 until the next redesign (which won't be until 2012, from a German source).
They already unveiled the 2007 SL55 with increased power on the supercharged 5.5 litre with the facelift.
the current sl will stay till 2012?! isn't that a bit..... way too dated by then?!
The previous SL lasted 12 years I think, so if the current SL will indeed stay til 2012 as reported by that German website I saw, it will only be 9 years, a shorter cycle than the previous one already
