That sometimes works when a dealership runs a computer search for a certain vehicle they don't have in stock and then won't tell you where it is. If you can read ( or remember ) the dealer code and write it down you can sometimes find out on your own. ( I've done that )

Just find your dealer through http://www.lexus.com/dealers/index.html , right click on the "Contact Dealer" button, click on copy link/URL, and the dealer code is right next to "DealerCode=" in the pasted URL.
