Just another's evident to show that money doesn't make a person to have taste and become classy. Those prestigious vehicles were owned by the elite upper classes decades ago, for those who really appreciate the vehicles. Now with the new economy with abundant new money, the atmosphere just changed... People just buy those cars because they have the money and want to be flashy, even though they are not really good at driving at all.
That's sad.

actually, if i recall half the owners of lamborghinis and ferraris in the world after the 1950's were all mainly "new" money. rockstars and business people i veliece. hell, james dean died in a Porsche, not a rolls.
The "prestige" brands werent Lamborghini, Ferrari, or Porsche, but the Luxury brands or Rolls Royce, Bentley, and Mercedes Benz. These were the types of cars bought mainly by the "Old Money" in both the US and hte UK, and most of the rest of the world for that matter.

Yea itd be better if only the "WORTHY" people can drive them, like people born into wealth right? People that get there on their own merit how dare they desecrate such nameplates!

I can certainly agree with that, with any past or current Lambo. Lambo always took it to the next level with their designs IMO, and I love that. Current F-car designs are falling off hard I think.

NSX-R can actually keep up with the gallardo and murcialego on a track, was shown on best motoring guess 4-6 extra cylinders doesnt help you enough
yes the NSX-R is one hell of a car. :bigthumbu: But a track ready car stripped of everyday equipment such as A/C and other weight loss items better be able to keep up with a stock Gallardo. I would be seriously disappointed if it couldnt.
Cars like the NSX-R and currently the Z06 offer a lot of bang for the buck.
lambo > Ferrari
....... in the 140k range...haha
my next car will be a lambo...g ride..
