Paitience, Paitience. If he would have just waited a little, one should be coming soon from the factory....with probably a lower price and better engineering than an aftermarket job.
I've seen one in person and it is definitely impressive. You just don't see any drop top 4 doors any more.
.
That's because it is difficult enough to get any real rigidity with a two-door droptop platform, much less a four door with even more holes and openings in the structure. The last production 4-door convertibe in the the U.S. that I know of was the Lincoln Continental of the mid-1960's.
A new 300M convertible is coming but I believe it will be two doors, not four.
I've seen a company (don't remember who) do a Mayback convertible and a Phantom. Didn't like the Maybach but the Rolls Royce looked killer. If you want to see one hot 300C convertible coupe go to WestCoast customs website. They have converted a 300C into a 2 door convertible and a Dodge Charger into a 2 door hardtop, very good work. They even show the undersides of the work. Top quality.
That car isn't even a chrysler 300. From my knowledge its an older model caprice turned into a drop top chrysler 300. Beautiful work though!!!!!!! DEFINITLY NOT HATEING
