Went to local dealership to check out the '06 Z06....
And to my suprise......... 
I asked them about it and they said the price is FIRM and if I couldn't afford it, someone that really wants it will come along and would pay that price!! haha.

Never mind, at first I didn't read the marketing mark-up part.
If you need one, let me know. I will just charge you $1000 on top of the MSRP plus shipping and handling

Well, being where you are I can understand a little bit of markup to possibly cover shipping (I've been to that dealer myself), but that's just insane. I don't quite think anyone's gonna come along and pay that, especially since it isn't even loaded.
I remember my local Dodge dealer had (or still might have) a brand new 1993 Viper RT/10, red with black interior for sale, and they wanted a 125% dealer markup on it.

why would someone not get a 911 Turbo for alittle more and want to get a Corvette worth $60k? It's a nice car and all but honestly the best advantage it had was the cheap price compared to 911.
