View Full Version : 997 out for a run on the Ring (vid) RA40 09-07-06, 07:43 PM This thing can move! :) http://videos.streetfire.net/video/c03787cf-ee26-45c9-aedc-9834005f691d.htm Mr Johnson 09-07-06, 08:00 PM First BMW driver was an idiot (he shook his head as he went by). Then he almost ran into the trailer on the second group. I was surprised how slowly he reeled in the other Porsche after coming out of Schwalbenschwanz onto the long straight. Very cool video but Hans in the BMW is still my favorite. rominl 09-07-06, 11:57 PM man is that thing flying.... that's very fast! chuckb 09-08-06, 10:39 AM that was sick!! love the sound and that driver is crazy! XeroK00L 09-08-06, 06:08 PM OMG when he's on full throttle the speed is just crazy...makes everything else on road look utterly motionless.:eek2::eek2: I agree with Mr Johnson's assessment that the first BMW driver is an idiot/jerk. Like he had a chance lol.:D BTW, can anybody tell me what those two double-digit numbers and the L-shaped rows of square dots on the digital gauge mean? chuckb 09-08-06, 06:31 PM OMG when he's on full throttle the speed is just crazy...makes everything else on road look utterly motionless.:eek2::eek2: I agree with Mr Johnson's assessment that the first BMW driver is an idiot/jerk. I don't know what the numbers mean, but it's a g-force meter. the L shaped thing shows which way the g's are pulling. it's like a plus sign, kinda cool once you know what it's doing. |
